I hate coffee with coconut oil in it so don't try that. It's disgusting. LOL

I don't know anyone who went to Germany. Just England and Italy. Trader Joe's is far from an Aldi's though. I've been in both.

Okay, nixed the coffee experiment. My mom let me know that Aldi carries TJ brands as well... unsure if that is the same, though, since it didn't say organic, and I thought it mostly was? They have TJ knäckebrot at home, apparently.

Italy! I have a wedding there in September. And I know one thing - paleo or not, I will have a tiny piece of pizza, and some pasta. Probably eating off my family's plates, since one pizza is as big as a wagon wheel (though really thin.) And yes, they would have better meat, since they still spend more on food, and place a higher value on quality. That doesn't necessarily apply to England (horrid food), but I think much of their meat is coming from Ireland, where grass-fed is more common. It's just Germans who want everything cheaper and cheaper, I guess... *sigh*

Do you really? Shudder. I would like to like it but I think it's just nasty. But butter in it is like heavy whipping cream only a little richer. It doesn't mask the flavor of the coffee either. I love it. And the MCT oil is good for me but doesn't add a coconut flavor. I like the flavor of coconut but not in my coffee!

Are you saying you put regular butter or coconut butter? I have some goat butter I love but can't imagine it in coffee.

Regular unsalted butter. 2T. Butter is just cream that's been solidified.

Huh, wonder if I could find some unsalted goat butter. Since off cow dairy, I don't really have migraines. I'll look for some, thanks for the idea! You alway have the most interesting things to share.

You were the reason I tried heavy whipping cream for the first time and my gosh I love it. I'll never go back to regular creamers again
The added co makes the coffee remind me of a frappacino lol

Since you have some diary issues you might try ghee. It's clarified butter with all casein and lactose removed.

I think of this as a jump start, one of the things that is so hard is dieting and exercise and seeing no change. This is a way to help get you going, but yes like ANY diet if you over eat and don't exercise you WILL gain weight. I am at the start of my change so I am not able to talk a lot. All of what I say has to do with life not with HCG, I did take Phentermine about 12 years ago I kept off all my weight for 10 years, I am now on HCG , phentermine, Prozac, thyroid meds and a few other things, ALL PRESCRIBED BY MY WEIGHT DOCTOR!
