    It is if it is the right dose for you. You are about to find out.

    We generally recommend a starting dose of 150iu as it generally works well for most people, but some need 125iu.

    If I stay with 125sub for 3 days and find that I get hungry late afternoon/evening do I go right to 150 or increase by 5IU—-125 to 130iu?

    If you stay witn 125iu for four dose days, and you are hungry in the evening, you still need to skip to find out which way to adjust. Hunger can look the same for either a too low or a too high dose.

    If you need to increase, you would increase to 150iu. Increments of 5iu really don't make any noticeable difference.

    If I go through the skip day what am I looking for if it’s too much or too little ? Hunger morning vs. evening ,etc?

    It doesn't matter except for the state of your hunger around late afternoon to early evening. Morning hunger or not hunger tells us nothing.

    So look for what happens late in the day. If hunger goes away, then lower dose next day. If hunger increases in the evening, raise dose the next day.

    Note: If you do a skip day when you are not trying to fix hunger, it is normal to feel a little hungry towards the end of the day. What we are looking for is strong, un-ignorable hunger.

    You can sometimes get a clue by observing when extreme hunger hits during a regular dose day. If you wake up ravenous, it points to a too-low dose. If you get hungry right after eating, that points to a too high dose. But it is not definitively the same for everyone, so the skip day is the most reliable way to go.

    Hello. My skip day was Monday and I’ve been at 125iu Tuesday & today(Wednesday). How many more days or what day of this week can I use it as a skip day to determine which way to go with my dosage? I’ve been somewhat hungry after dinner both yesterday & today ( evening only )

    If you're hungry evening only, I wouldn't skip. Try bumping up your dose just a bit like to 125 or 140.

    Thank you for the advice... I try 140 tomorrow for a few days to see how my hunger is in the evening .

    I am already on 125iu, been for 2 days.. if you look on the first page of this post , I posted my schedule so far from the very first day and where I am now I’d just a couple posts above this one ... by looking at all that do I think I should go to 140 tomorrow or wait another day or two before adjusting up?

    I woke up hungry , and took the 140 iu dose... I’m assuming if it the 125 dose was low for me that last night I would be hungry and waking this morning too
