    Help with Cheating!

    I am on day 17 of Round 1 Phase 2. For the past 3 to 4 days I have been hungry!!! I lost 19 pounds to start but have gained back 4 over the past few days! I have cheated a few times and it seemed to have started when I ate some "Chocolate Delight" that I was told was allowed. I couldn't stop eating it once I started and now I am craving carbs and sugar...plus I find myself getting sleepy and tired all the time. Please help! I have 84 more pounds to lose and I don't want to mess this up. I am really discouraged today.

    First off, cut that chocolate out! It's not allowed. It's oils plus the sweet taste gets your insulin messed up. Were you hungry before you started that stuff?

    No. A friend that started me on HCG told me about "Chocolate Delight" and she said it was allowed becouse we need the fat to help us burn moe fat?. The recipe is coconut oil and dark cocoa and I used Truvia as the sweetner. I don't want to lose control but feel so hungry all the time.

    Here they call it cocoa crack. Many say they can eat and lose with it but it is not protocol and you see why. It can get a lot of cravings going. Stop with the chocolate and start eating clean and see if your appetite settles back down.

    I've been trying something for the last couple days that seems to be helping a little bit. We are allowed one lemon per day (16 calories) to use on fish, chicken, salads, etc. I cut one up into thin wedges and whenever I feel craving I suck on it and then drink some water. For some reason, the lemon juice is "cutting" the craving back.

    Lemon is great for you too! It helps with digestion as well.

    Thanks so much for clarifying the use of the Chocolate...yes it is what set me off and it was like a drug that once I started I couldn't stop. I will try the lemons. I have a funny sweet taste in my mouth all the time now so maybe that will help too. I also have "ringing in my ears"??? I am new at this blogging stuff so I hope I am doing this right I am not sure how to do all this. I was looking for a place for support because I have several family members that think HCG is a waste of my time and money and they think it is dangerous and that I'll just gain all the weight right back. I am desperate for this to work. I want to be healthy and "at a normal" weight. I have been overwieght for 30 years! I want to feel good and look good too!

    And you will Mama, you will, and quicker than you know it! Just get up everyday and get back on the horse (or motorcycle as the case may be).

    Now, this is strictly off protocol, but in my first round, I allowed myself an extra protein serving once in a while when I was feeling particularly slow, or when I exercised.

    Thanks! Where did you get your weight loss tracker? I noticed that many people on here have them. I am not very good with all this computer stuff but am trying to learn.

    The sweet taste is keytones. Even with the limited fruit we get you can still be in ketosis on this plan. It causes a sweet taste in your mouth and usually weird smelling urine.
