Thread: HELP: hCG came as HUCOG (liquid form)

  1. #13
My only concern is to give my body a little something to get as close to maintaining natural levels of testosterone production as possible.

Does hCG help you maintain your metabolism? Because eating 500 calories seem a bit drastic and from a fitness perspective, would drive your metabolism to a crawl. Not sure how hCG comes into play here but I’ve never researched HCG dieting so I wouldn’t know much about the intricate details or other uses for hCG

When administered according to Dr. Simeons protocol, HCG mobilizes your visceral fat stores to be used as energy during the very low calorie diet. A specific limited menu of a few foods tested to enhance the action of the HCG is allowed to total 500 calories per day, but your body is also burning that released fat, so you are not starving and your metabolism is not slowed. The advantage is that when you finish the course, you are able to eat normal calorie amounts without regaining, if you follow the 3 week stabilization guidelines.

The HCG prevents muscle wasting during the low calorie phase as well. So you burn the right kind of fat, and often you end up wearing a smaller size that you did at that same weight previously. It reshapes your body, and the reshaping often continues into the stabilization period. During that time, you might drop another pant size, even though the scale remains steady.

That's kind of a nutshell of the process, but if you want more information, you can check out the manuscript that explains it all.

I salute anyone who could survive a 500 daily calorie intake diet haha! I don’t thing I have it in me. I usually just do a typical 25% calorie reduction combined with high intensity exercise to burn the fat. That’s really THE most proven way to lose weight (fat). This whole testosterone cycle for me is just an experiment and I have noticed testicular shrinkage and lower sperm production since my hCG didnt arrive till a few days ago and I’m on my second week of testosterone injections. I’ll do 250iu every 3.5 days. If there is little to no fullness within the testicles, I’ll increase the dose to 500. The post cycle therapy will take care of all these problems, but keeping natural testosterone going during a testosterone injection cycle isn’t a bad idea. For me, I don’t think any higher than 1500iu a week total is necessary, but of course it always varies. I’ll report back on my hCG use if you’re interested but it’s not quite related to the HCG diet, as much as the general use of hCG.

That's the thing--if the dose is right, you have no hunger on the HCG diet, so often you struggle to reach the 500 calories, or even can forget to eat.

I would be interested in how it relates to your hunger levels. But I think you would get more specific information about your particular goals on a body building forum.

At least we could help you a bit with your product questions.

Update, I don’t experience any hunger (though may not be relevant since I’m not going for the hCG diet, but worth mentioning). My testicles do feel fuller and sperm amount increased after just one injections. Not sure, maybe it’s a placebo effect but I’ll report back later.
