Thread: Help If You Are Hungry on HCG Diet ~ Please Read

  1. #1357
Yeah, I figured if this doesn’t work, I’ll skip tomorrow, and then do a lower dose on Wednesday. What dose should I drop down to on Wednesday, if this doesn’t work today? I’ve heard that .125 is a good dosage for smaller people...I’m 5’3”, with out about 15 lbs to lose (currently 150). Grammy, have you found that to be true? That weight/height is a factor in dosage? Or is every body type different?

Your size and weight really don't matter. Every person is individual. 125 iu is a good dose for many.

I feel way better this evening! No starving or weakness from lunch til dinner this time and I actually feel like I have some energy! So, it looks like the .2 (200) works for me! Iím wondering if the dosage is different or off or something. I had 5000 iuís mixed w only 5ml bacteriostatic water.

Depending on what kind of needle you have, you can lose some solution in the neck of the needle which is why we never recommend mixing it that potently. It drives me crazy that the clinics recommend it.

    Hey Grammy!

I just read your mixing protocol, but like most, I followed the instructions from Nu Image, only adding 5cc to 5000 iu. So far Iím doing 125 iu daily and skip once a week since Iím doing 40 injections. After 3 weeks pass and I mix my second vial, should I mix it how I did before? Or should I put 10cc bac water, as you recommend? If I were to switch it up in the middle of P2, would that affect anything?

And if I do, do I still draw 125 iu even though the dose would be diluted?

    Thanks for your input!

Ohhhh...okay, I think I read that you mentioned that elsewhere, but at the time I didn't know what you meant. That totally makes sense. I felt way better yesterday evening and I noticed that my dose lasts a lot longer and seems to actually get stronger throughout the day, whereas before it seemed only working in the morning. Last night I was in a super annoyed mood about food. I was so annoyed that I "couldn't" eat the things that I wanted to, when everyone else in my house (4 kids + husband that can get away with eating anything) was enjoying things. I don't have a big issue with sugar or starches though...before this I was mostly paleo, did keto for awhile recently, whole30, etc. I am ALWAYS messing with my nutrition to see if I can figure out why I have such a hard time losing weight. I'm not VERY heavy, but I hate feeling uncomfortable in my clothes. With paleo, keto, and whole30 I lose 0 weight. The only other thing I have found that has been helpful is the zone diet. The thing that I both like and hate about HCG diet is that I can't just quit when I want to. When I was angry last night I spent some time scrolling through the posts to see if I could just quit early. I found that almost all posts said a resounding, "NO!", because it can mess with your hypothalamus. I was getting discouraged with the dosing, and then I JUST got another loss of only .4 lbs after 2 days of no weight loss and was beginning to lose hope. I DID have some braggs aminos 3 days ago because I read somewhere that it was ok (apparently not), and pickles 2 days ago (making me retain water?). I'm happy about the .4, but also discouraged because I've noticed that most people lose a lot their first week.

Anyway, sorry for the long post. Had to vent! Thanks for your support! This may be one of the hardest diets I've ever done, but I think it will have some great benefits. I'm really trying to internalize and reflect on my feelings about food.

It's a very regimented diet, but the great thing is that it WORKS. When nothing else works, it always does.

I cannot stress enough to everyone, the MOST common reason we find when our patients tell us they are feeling hunger is a simple dosing change. Start with the easiest solution before doing a more complicated solution.

    Hi Brimi,
You could be experiencing cravings because your dose is not quite right. You're doing very well in losing, but we all lose best and stabilize best when the dose is just right.

Tomorrow, you can do a skip day. Don't take your shot in the morning, but continue to follow the protocol diet. Around 4pm and into the evening we should get an answer. Either your hunger and cravings will go away, or they will get worse. We can adjust your dose accordingly once we know which way to go.

What dose are you on currently?

Hi Grammy, first of all I have to thank you so much for all of your advice. I have read so many posts on this thread and learned so much from this forum. I really appreciate the time you and the other moderators take to help others struggling and succeeding with hcg..
I'm on R3 VLCD 15. R1 I lost about 15 lbs, gained some of those back then R2 lost about 13 lbs and got to 118, I'm 5'2" so that was fine for my frame. I looked and felt great in my clothes.
R3 saw me back to my original starting weight, unhappy because my clothes don't fit, my blood sugar was up, 138 pounds doesn't work for me!
I'm very disciplined and follow the diet exactly as described in pounds and inches. In my previous rounds I was kind of hungry for most of it but I had the 1:1 dilution so couldn't figure out how to adjust my dose. This time I was smart and got the 5000 bottle of hcg and put 10,000 bacterostatic water in there! So nice to have a bigger amount to play with.
I was injecting 125 sub cutaneous every day and had been a little hungry at times, but last Friday VLCD 12 I was RAVENOUS, it was horrible. By then I had dropped from 141 after loading to 131.4. So down just under 10 pounds at that point.
I skipped the injection Saturday and was blissfully hunger free for the first time this round. I ate my chicken and veggies for lunch and then around 7 pm realized I forgot about dinner. Normally I'm looking at the clock to see when I can eat again!
Yesterday I injected 23 on my needle which I guess means 115 iu hcg? I had been injecting 25 on my needle for 125.
Yesterday I felt very cranky, and hungry. I want that blissful feeling of no hunger that I now know is possible, but I'm not sure how to attain it again.
Did I adjust in the wrong direction?did I adjust too low? What do you advise?
Sorry for such a long post, I wanted to try to give you enough information to see my hungry little picture!
Thank you again for helping all of us. <3 Laura

Laurarae, I think you didn't go low enough. You should have dropped to 100iu. You can just do that on your next dose. At your mixture, that would be 20 on your syringe.
