Leez, thank you for your speedy reply!
I already injected 24 this morning because I had to get to work, but will definitely try 20 tomorrow for 100IU.
I really want that feeling of NO HUNGER!!! It was amazing.
Thank you again for helping me.

If you want to get there quicker, and since you went up today rather than down, you can inject 80iu tomorrow and then 100iu each day thereafter. That should get you relief sooner.

Remember that HCG stays in your body for 3 days, so any dose adjustments take a few days to settle out. That is why the skip day is so important, and why you felt so much better. Your levels were dropped quickly by the skip day.

Yes, 80 iu would be 16

    Red face Dosage Guidance?

Started Sun and am on day 4 of VLCD. Starving when i get up and all day long, even right after i eat. I know my does is high because it is at 200iu. I think when i did it years ago it was 125. I took Leez's advice & dropped to 100 today and she said go to 150. I'm wondering if i should skip tomorrow (since it is almost a week) and then try either 125 or 150? I've past menopause and have 40 lbs to lose.

How did you feel on your lower dose today? If you're still hungry, see how you're feeing tonight. The levels should be dropping. You could do 125 tomorrow if you'd rather.

I was still pretty hungry yesterday on the lower dose so today i did a skip day which would've been my 1st skip day anyway. It has been FANTASTIC today! Not weak or hungry like i have been. So tomorrow i thought i would start at 125 and see how that works. Can always go up to 150 if i need to but i seem to remember when i did this years ago the pre-made syringes were 125.

2 weeks on pellets and I'm HUNGRY! Please help!

2 weeks on pellets and I'm HUNGRY! Please help!

Hi everyone. This is my first round and the first time I've posted on a forum before so I hope I'm doing it right. Sorry in advance for the long post, but I wanted to give the background.

I bought the pellets from Nu Image because I was afraid of the shots. The pellets are 500 IU. I did a month of detoxing with almost no processed food, lots of whole organic foods, moderate exercise, lots of vitamins/minerals, water, etc. and following the Johnson Up Day Down Day Diet (JUDDD) aka Alternate Day Fasting and I did that along with intermittent fasting, eating from 12-8 daily. I'm 51, 5'1", and lost 13 lbs in July preparing to do the HCG Diet. I went from 240 to 227. I did two very "clean" loading days on August 3rd and 4th eating lots of good fats, protein, nuts, and some fruit but stayed away from junk food and gained 3 pounds during the loading. Started the 500 VLCD on Monday, August 5th at 230 pounds.

During the first week I felt GREAT! No hunger except a tiny bit around mealtimes and I had a ton of energy. But on the 6th VLCD that all went away and I was starving out of my head! And then I started not sleeping well either, which makes me extra hungry. I checked in with Nu Image to get support but they told me to eat more snack vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, and onions) and eat them every 30 minutes and drink more water and go up to 600 calories per day. I was already drinking 90+ oz of water per day. Also, I have not strayed off the original Simeons protocol. I mentioned that I'd heard you could be experiencing hunger if the dose is too high and they told me not to adjust my dose, followed by "Sometimes people get hungry but 9 times out of 10 they don't eat enough or often enough and once they adjust their menus they are fine".

So I ate more veggies, spaced them out, but I was still hungry. Like I want to gnaw my arm off hungry!

Then I found this forum and read everything about dose and hunger, but I only found a few posts regarding people on the pellets.

I tried skipping a dose on VLCD 11 (last Thursday). I did not feel as hungry. So then I cut the pellets in half to try half the dose. I took half a pellet on Fri, Sat, and Sunday. I felt some hunger around mealtimes but it felt like a normal "down day" for me (since I am used to doing 500 cals on the JUDDD diet where I might have a little gnawing hunger a few times a day but not starving out of my head) but the half pellet days did not feel like the first week.

Today is VLCD 15 and the fourth day of 1/2 pellet. I took it at 8:45 this morning. I started feeling pretty hungry around 4pm. Had a snack. Still hungry and I'm going to eat dinner shortly (sirloin and asparagus). I'm afraid that I'm still going to be hungry after dinner and an entire cucumber is not going to keep the hunger at bay.

A few other things: I lost 6 pounds the first week from 230 to 224, but this second week my weight has fluctuated wildly up and down and I ended up only losing 2 lbs, down to 222. I tried the Melba toast but it gave me carb cravings. I switched over to LePain Sourdough Rye crackers and then tried Scandinavian Crispbreads but I think I had an inflammation response to the wheat (2 lb weight gain the next day) so I'm not going to do anymore crackers this round. I stopped taking any vitamins with the exception of digestive enzymes when I eat protein because I lost my gallbladder 2 years ago and need the enzymes. I've also taken a teaspoon or two of Glucommanan Powder with water for fiber when I was hungry so I wouldn't end up constipated and to fill me up (it's just fiber, no fillers).

Right now it feels like I'm just doing 500 calories a day with no real appetite suppressant. I bought enough pellets for a long round, but I'm thinking I should get over myself and buy the injections so that I don't waste this round but the pellets were really expensive and I don't want to waste them. They are also nearly impossible to split without crumbling them a tad. There's just no way I can go another 30 days at this level of hunger, especially if my weight continues to go up and down daily instead of trending down. It's just so frustrating.

    What should I do?

It does sound like your dose is still too high even at half strength.

Here is what we recommended with someone else that found the pellet doses too high (and this worked for her):

Discussion topic referenced: Nu Image - Pellet Dosing

So if you have a glass bottle with a ml dosing syringe (you should be able to get a child's dosing syringe at the drugstore) you could mix in that. I usually keep old amber glass bottles that have a syringe attached in case I need them. If you have 10 pellets left, you could easily fit 10 ml of fluid in it with the 10 pellets. Any glass bottle with a top you can remove to get a dosing syringe in would work.
You can use distilled or filtered water as your mixing fluid. Follow the regular procedures and waiting time rules for sublingual dosing.

When you take HCG sublingually you take twice the dose of injected RX HCG because not all of it is absorbed. Dosing your pellets as described above would put you at an effective dose of 125iu. (But 125iu taken twice a day orally).

If you wish to try this, you would skip a day tomorrow and then start the sublingual dosing the next day. Skipping will bring your levels down and get you comfortable much quicker.

Thank you, Leez! I will skip my dose tomorrow. That will give me a chance to go out and get some kind of ml dosing syringe.

Am I understanding correctly that 1 pellet would equal 2 days' worth of sublingual drops because I'm taking it twice a day?

Yes, that is correct. Take that dose of 125iu 2 times a day, and continue for at least 4 days (4 days doses would use 2 pellets). At that point, if you are still having hunger issues you can skip again to find out how to adjust. And because you are now using the pellets via a solution, you will be able to adjust the dose accurately.

I'm not sure how long it takes for the NuImage pellet to dissolve. I take a medication that is dispensed this way, and it takes mine a couple of hours to fully dissolve. I mix up about a week at a time and keep in the fridge in between uses.
