Woke up gaining the 2 days on P3, with this morning being over the 2 pounds. Steak days in previous rounds have not been successful for me, but wondering what I am doing wrong in P3. Fridays during Lent are difficult and this started after a Friday where I let myself get more hungry than usual, but I ate riced cauliflower and fish for lunch and then salted cod and mixed veggies (heavily vinegar) for dinner. Next morning had gained just under 2 pounds
What jumps out at me is the salt cod. Salt overload= water retention.
Steak days are the remedy for going over your 2 pounds, but since they don't work for you, you can try focus on protein and veggies for the day, and drink some extra water to chase the bloat. You could also try a protein loading day...which is pretty much just protein, a little good fats and some lettuce or celery. Of course, don't eat past satisfaction.
Your other choice would be to do nothing and proceed with P3. The water weight will dissipate. You didn't gain fat.
Basically, what you are trying to do is to dilute the extra salt as much as possible. A detox bath might help as well.
