List of allowed sauces and seasonings

    Hi there,
I'm sure there are answers on here to my questions but I can't for the life of me find one spot where there is provided area with a list of approved sauces and seasonings that are allowed. Does anyone have an ongoing list of items that are protocol safe? I'm a sauce/dip freak so I need flava! Thanks!!!

Pounds and Inches lists the spices you can use. Dips/ sauces aren't listed as there aren't any that fit the original protocol. People do experiment though. No oils, starches or sugars is what you are looking for in dips. I made my own salad dressing with allowed spices and used it as a dip occasionally.

Forgot to mention the walden farms products that some use. But it is a matter of personal taste on whether you like those products. And some stall on them even though in small quantities they are calorie free.

Walden Farms makes a great BBQ sauce. I like to take extra lean cut of top round sirloin, put in the crockpot all day with a chopped onion, some liquid smoke, garlic, paprika, black pepper, chili powder, salt, dry mustard.

When it's done I'll take the meet out, shred it and eat it with just the Waldens BBQ on it. I've used it a ton this cycle and I'm averaging about 1.3 lbs per day of loss

Pounds and Inches says, "The juice of only one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet-basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc. may be used for seasoning..."

If you're going to make a sauce or dip, it probably has to consist of lemon, vinegar, and herbs. P&I also says that specially prepared unsweetened and low calorie foods can be tentatively used. I think Walden Farms products fall into the "tentatively used" category. You can try them and they may nor may not affect weight loss or stabilization. It will depend on the individual.

I found a lot of them on amazon, taste great too! Amazon has a lot of items listed on this plan, all the flavored Stevia, melba Toast, salad dressings and spices to make it easy.
