Thanks for the link and the encouragement Bella Donna - I'd not heard of those before, but it certainly can't hurt. Obviously you've had success with it in the past?

Hi Paula - you are doing great! I have a much harder time on the weekends too, my family is being supportive but of course they want to eat and sometimes it is hard to resist.

Welcome sagefox - enjoy your load days!

I'm on week 2 in p1 and needing a group for ongoing support. Would love to join you all if that's OK. I'm down 10 pounds so far. Need to lose 18 more.

Hi all! I'm on day 10 of VLCD - this is round #2 for me (last round last year at Labor Day) - lost 45 lbs (over 3 months) and kept most of it off until summer hit (vacations!) - gained back 15 and said heck NO! So here I am again - my clinic allows you to stay on as long as necessary. As I want to loose about 20 more lbs and lose about 1/2 lb per day - I'm figuring my timing is right to join you all on this thread who are on a long round. Last time my group moved into P3 without me (I wasn't "done") so I didn't "do" p3 - which in hindsight, probably was why I popped back up in weight. Well that AND the fact that I quit weighing myself. DOH! That is NOT a mistake I will make again - weighing everyday for the rest of my life will make small gains much easier to manage for sure as ignorance is NOT bliss.

A little about me - 41, biz owner in AZ, with a 16 year old son, 2 dogs, 2 cats, one SKINNY hubby and a couple of horses and would rather be riding than anything else in the world. I travel quite a bit for biz, so it's a bit of a challenge ... but doable. I also just strapped a fitbit to my arm, anyone else using a fitbit? I do mix veggies, so I have some KILLER recipes which I can share if asked, but they do mix veggies.

Cheers and Good Luck to all! Let's lose this weight!

You are doing great with that 10 lb loss, MK2bthin.
Reading the blog helps keep one on

    Day 2- Loading Day

The euphoria I get about 20 minutes after the shot, that continues throughout, plus the utter lack of appetite though I'm on a Loading Day, tells me this is going to work for me! I'm super motivated right now. I gained a pound on first Loading Day, and I really enjoyed a nice, high fat binge, though it really was hard to stuff myself. The ice cream made it easier!!

Yea, we finally got some people. I knew there had to be more than just a handful of us Labor Day Loaders. Welcome Paula, sagefox, mk2bthin, and AZCowgirl.

Jules234 - Congratulations on your 1.6 lb. drop. That's a great start for VLCD1. How exciting.

Bella Donna - Thanks for the video and information about Cali Kickers. I may give them a try, although I have to tell you that it sounds a little weird to me to put Cyan pepper in my Lemonade! lol

I finished my two day load last night with such a bloated feeling that I didn't sleep well. I ate 3,200 calories, 258 grams of fat in one day! Yikes! I'm actually looking forward to starting the VLCD part of this plan, although I won't be saying that after a short while of eating fish and chicken! I gained 2.0 lbs. over the past two days on load. Couple that with the 2.4 lbs. over my LIW from last round, I'm starting out 4.4 lbs. over where I should be. Hopefully I will start to see a drop now. Once I see those little drops on the scale, that gives me the motivation to march on!

Now for the fun part (sarcasm), trying to figure out how to make the acceptable foods interesting and tasty! And, don't forget your water today!
    Please call me Donna

    1/4/14 Round 1 Start Weight - 162.9 lbs.

    5/20/14 LIW: 133.0 lbs.

Morning Team! Off for a quick ride, a spin with the dogs around the block and then my daily climb on the scales. Will report in later but thanks for the warm welcome, thinking skinny thoughts and bottoms up. Water water water - it's truly the key for me! Talk soon!

10 pounds in a week is great mk2bthin, you are over 1/3 of the way to your goal!

AZCowgirl, I am in Phoenix also and I failed last time for the same reason. No matter how many people tell you the importance of P3, I think that some of us have to learn that the hard way.

Sagefox, loading seems so counterintuitive at this point, you sound ready for tomorrow to start!

Paula, how are things with you? Which day are you on?

Donna, good luck with your menu and keeping it interesting!

As for me, I dropped another 2 (yay!) pounds last night for a total of 4.4. This was much needed as I struggled with motivation yesterday, but I stuck with it and am so glad that I did. Now onto VLCD3.

I started looking for a group last weekend and noticed this thread. I then couldn't locate it. Things were going great through the week as I was busy working and the temptations weren't there. This weekend everyone has wanted to eat out or have me cook. UGH! Despite this I have lost my loading weight +5 lbs so I am happy. I am here receive support on the journey. My son is marrying next Sept. and I would like to lose 50 lbs. I am going to try in 20lb increments. Hoping to keep up with you all during the week from here on.
A wedding is a great motivator! Glad you are here!

    Nice to meet you all.
I had a lot of ice cream! It is so hot here. So that was a good load food. I loaded on high fat foods but also had wine and ate out several times. I am so bloated! But that is what my load needs to be like. I usually do not load well enough. This time I did not worry about the scale at all.

AZ my son is just leaving your state with a group of kids who went to Salt River? They saw wild horses, tubed, cliff jumped. Great time they said. How blessed to have horses!!

For me what makes the food taste good is spices like Mrs. Dash salt free South Western, a bit of low sodium broth in cabbage of veggies and meat. Also, flavored waters. Ice coffee. A lot of people like the P2 chili. I may make it with chicken. I rarely eat hamburger anymore.

Well I gained 5 pounds - about that. But I loaded 3 days and ate out a lot. I also didn't stop eating till late last night due to a party we had. And wine. lol - I know it will come off.

30 pounds is my need and I measured as well.

Did you all measure?!!! I have a photo too....

    Stay intentional ladies!!!!

Who is walking at least 30 min a day? I am heading out after my water is drank.
