    Not Loosing the load weight

    Hello,

Yesterday was the 1st day on P2. I gained 8 lbs on lead days. I weighed 141.4 yesterday. Today I lost only .8 lbs. Is that normal. Feeling very sad.

    Thank you,

    Vidya

I am on my 4th round of injections. I can say, that this time around, I had no big losses in the days after starting P2. Every round is different. Drink your water, stay on protocol. Adjust your dose only if necessary.

Let the body do what it has to do. This works otherwise I wouldn't be back for a 4th round. I gained nearly all my weight back after 3 rounds (awhile back in time) because I was stupid and went back to my old ways of eating. It took 2/3 years of eating badly to bring it all back.

I have had "bad" losses on the first few days of a round, and it's a bit of a mind-messer.

One round, I weighed myself before loading, and didn't weigh myself until I had completed a week of VLCD. On day 8 of P2, I weighed somewhere around 4 pounds less than I had before I started loading. I didn't get to see how much I gained during loading, and, the net result was a good loss for the first week of the protocol.

Just for the record, no part of this journey is for the weak.

Usually when that happens you've eaten quite a bit of inflammatory food for you. Your body holds onto that protective water weight later. It's a clue to look what you ate that brought about such a huge weight gain in two days and avoid it later when you want to stabilize!

That's awesome! Now write down what you ate that caused such a massive weight gain and inflammation. It's probably what is driving your weight problem in the first place. Usual culprits are dairy and gluten.
