Iím about to finish with my first 6 week round of HCG shots and Iím so super excited! My starting weight was 223.8 and Iíve gotten down to 196.8 (Iím on my fifth week). I do plan on starting another round after my break, so I can hopefully get down to anywhere between 120-130. (Iím five foot tall). Itís been years since Iíve been under 200 and I cried a little lol! Iíd love to hear all of yíalls stories and how youíve felt getting to your goal weight

Hello and welcome! Congratulations on great losses this round. I'm so happy you were happy enough to cry. Under 200 is a huge milestone.

I haven't done a round for quite a while, but I've always lost just about 20 lbs on a 40 day round. It varies from 19.8 to 20.2, I recall, but basically, I'm a 20 lb per round loser. I started at just under 200 (yes, I was traumatized that I was so very close to 200 and worried that one bad day would put me up a few pounds to that number so it was good incentive to be so worried). At my lowest, I got to somewhere just under 130 on the way to my dream goal of 125. I quickly realized that was underweight for me and regained a few pounds. I feel and look best around 135-145ish.

I've always struggle with my weight and years of dieting had just made that struggle harder. Each time I lost weight, I regained more than I'd lost. Then I found I couldn't lose any weight at all no matter how little I ate and how much I exercised. In fact, I kept gaining with no scientific explanation for it. I pretty much dieted and exercised myself into ill health and spent some time virtually bedridden with my thyroid/CFS/Fibromyalgia/adrenal issues. Once I was almost able to return to work part time, I discovered hcg. I did, I think, 4 rounds before I got to my initial 135 goal. I regained everything from the second round and had to repeat it (health issues). After a while, I tried a 5th round to get to my dream weight, but I cut it short when it became obvious I didn't look good at that lower weight. Over the years, I've done rounds a couple other times when I've gained some weight back, but those have usually been for 10 or so pounds, not 65 lbs.

When I got to goal, I remember feeling a couple things. First, I was very afraid I'd gain it all back immediately as I'd done so many times before. I haven't, but as I've said, I have had times where I gained some. Second, I felt thin. I'm a very small person with small bones. I never realized that before. I always thought of myself as kind of sturdy even when I was at a lower weight. My mom has these narrow feet and tiny wrists and wears a small ring size. I'd never known I inherited that from her until after hcg because I seem to be smaller than I ever was when I reached my goal weight with Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or anything else I tried. It was also a strange adjustment, but a happy one to realize I take up less space. I can pass someone in a narrow space at work and not brush up against them. It was just a weird mental adjustment. And, of course, I was proud of myself for reaching my goal, but mostly I was scared of gaining it back and surprised/delighted I'm so small a person.

Anyway, I hope things go very well for you in P3 and P4, and you are able to continue on with more rounds until you reach your goal. My advice is to look at P3 as the most important part of the round. Don't relax your self-discipline too much and get off track. I think sometimes we think that the hard part is over once P2 is done, but really P2 is the easy part. The lack of a regimented plan in P3 can make it easy to get off track. Just keep focused and you'll do well.

    Start Weight Question

Probably a silly question in the grand scheme of things but what starting weight do all the HCGers use to track from? Is it before or after the load? I feel I'm going to lose slow from a lifetime of dieting and now menopause so want as much encouragement from the scale as I can get. Thanks

Hi Julinga, I started tracking a day before my loading day. I just finished my 2nd week and I lost 23lbs. I am on a 3 months program. 30 days of HCG, 30 days of detox and another round of 30 days of HCG. I feel so good now, physically and mentally. I cannot wait to see the end results!

Holy Moly! 23 lbs in 2 weeks...that is so awesome!! I'm almost jealous but won't be cuz happy happy for you. I am still in my first week but 2 weeks before I started, I lost 10 pounds doing Whole 30. Somehow reduced a size with the 10 pounds which is crazy to me. I've not heard or read about your 3 month program. Is it Dr led? I'm curious what the 30 day detox is about

I am doing this through Atlanta Medica Institute, near Lenox. I had my 2nd visit today and they were all very impressed too. I am trying to stick to the protocol as much as I can. Most people in here are on 500 calorie diet. I am on 800 and I am losing as much as them. My biggest issue was food preparation when I started. I am a very picky
eater. I dont eat sea food, I hate most veggies lol but I managed to create different meals with cabbage. I do eat a lot of cabbage and chicken breasts. Only 2-3 meals a week with beef. I noticed with beef I dont lose as much as with chicken. Also, I use coconut butter oil with garlic to cook with. Makes the food taste a lot better. I walk 2-4 miles 5 times a week. And thats pretty much it.
You can do it! If I can do it, anybody else can! I have never been overweight before. Two years ago, I went through some things in my life. Stress and depression caused a huge weight gain....almost 100lbs. I work from home too, and the biggest challenge was getting outside and asking for help. I guess i just needed a little push to motivate me. I have my bad days too, dont get me wrong...but I feel so good. I have so much energy. I deep clean my house every day hahaha. I even wash my walls hahaha.

Thanks for the encouragement Ida! Getting my butt moving is a big challenge for me. I could use an hcg buddy for sure. Let me know if you are interested; I also see you live in the ATL area; I'm in Acworth.

    Hello,

I tried HCG in the past with decent results but my issue is being consistent. So I will continue to post to ensure that I am accountable. I have lost 6 pounds in 6 days. Starting at 182.4 on 4/5 and I am now at 176.4 on 4/11. I am taking the Triumph Drops. I am looking to do to round and I am on a 40 day regiment. I am going to incorporate Lipo- B-12 Shots to assist in accelerate weight loss. I have to post my weight as a reminder to myself because I am at my heaviest. I intend to get back in shape and live my healthiest life. Best wishes to everyone on their weight loss journey!

Hi! Glad to see you're doing well! I started hcg on 4/5 did two loading days so started p2 VLCD on Saturday 4/7 and I haven't lost anything but I started getting my pre-period bloat on Sunday and I always gain some water weight right before it starts. I'm guessing I won't see any weight loss until my period is over.
