    low loses

I have been on hcg since 9/10 and starting weight was 205 after loading. present weight is 188.8. the last week I have been on .15 iu and weight has stayed the same. this is an overall loss of just .46 lbs a day. could I be becoming resistant? I'm discouraged and after 35 days to have only lost 16.2 seems like a defeat. I have skipped a day a week and regulated hcg accordingly. I have not cheated, not hungry, but eating and following original protocol. any suggestions?

Wow! You're doing great! Women lose an average of 1/2 lb per day on the hcg protocol. Your loss is consistent with average. Congratulations on sticking with it and losing over 16 pounds in 5 weeks!

Losses do slow towards the end of the round, and stalls of up to 10 days are common. If you are not hungry, the best thing is to stay the course. You should still be able to lose a bit more and end up somewhere around the half pound a day loss that is the average for women. Sometimes changing up your food choices can have an effect. It might be worth taking a look at the menu and try some different veggies or protein from your norm.

Its unlikely you are having any resistance issues. Women generally, do not lose steadily every day. After the first week, there can be days at a time in between weight drops. That is all about how your body is adjusting water stores and hormone influences. It is normal.

I have had several 40 dose rounds and had a total loss of 17 pounds in one, but consistently around 20. Its not unusual.

Thanks so much for the encouragement and hope. I have noticed that I have been eating 3 to 4 egg whites everyday, and read recently I should not be doing eggs everyday, but just a couple times a week. I will also change up some of my protein choices. Thanks again for responding, and I’ll keep you posted.

When you have egg whites, the protocol specifies having 3 eggwhites plus one whole egg. And yes, you are right, that is supposed to be an occasional choice, not a daily one. Fish might be a good protein to add if you are not using it already. Costco has tilapia loins that has a sweet flesh that is not fishy, and they are responsibly farmed (meaning they are not fed hormones or garbage).

Let us know how it goes!
