Feeling great about moving on to a more healthy lifestyle.

Congrats on your losses Sara! What day are you on? I haven't read much about P3 yet - but your shopping list sounds good! I hadn't even thought about having almond flour to make stuff - and coconut flour. Excited for you! Today is only day 15 for me - seem like a lot of days to go still! Will they pass quickly?!

Yes the temptation to cheat since I did ok was greater yesterday. My friends ate infront of me and the only thing I could think about was me losing weight when I get on the scale. I'm honestly so much more sane following this than Atkins. Got on the scale and it says 248.2!! My main goal today is staying hydrated.

Congratulations ladies on your losses! I can't wait until its time to prepare for p3!

Everyone is doing great! Keep it up! We can do this!

I ran into someone the other day who I found out used hcg to lose. 16 to a size 8 in one and a half rounds and stable for a year. So motivating!

    Have a great day!
If I could just get out of the 200's!

    Starting weight: 254
Vlcd week 1: down 8.8lbs! (Week ending 2/24)
    Vlcd week 2:restart 246.8 March 2, 2011

    Hi Newbie,
This is my first round this year. My husband and I did HCG injections with great results over a year ago, then he was diagnosed with RA! He was on prednisone and gained and I gained out of worry! I would love a buddy

Welcome DiC! Congratulations on giving it another go. I was inspired up what Cookie Monroe said about someone going from 16-8 and staying there for + a year - very motivating...but I know that doesn't happen for everyone. I hear the trick is in the P3 and P4 - resetting your body, so that you have more normal hunger, and that you can maintain your weight even with the occasional eating of more than you should, etc - like the pizza iislandshorty mentioned above - or chinese! I have also read that for the "ex-obese" (lovely term - can you never lose the fat label!!!) - it is very important to weigh yourself everyday, because it is easy to gain 10-15 pounds of normal fat over your body without hardly noticing...

Thanks Sara for the recipes - look awesome! And congratulations on 33 pounds in 30 days! WOW! you are rocking the averages for women!

So do you still have 12 days of P2 (40 with HCG plus two more VLCD to get it out of your system?)? Are you going to try to surpass the 34 pounds you were aiming for? (I understand that Dr S said if you have alot of weight to lose, you can lose up to 40 in one round, instead of 34). Today I am day 16 - day 40 looks so far away still! I will be sure to plan for that cauliflower pizza!

WOW, Sarah...33 lbs! That's amazing! Congratulations That's the importance of the posts...reading your (and everyone else's) success stories motivates me to keep going after going through days like today (or yesterday, actually) and all I can think of is food. Not necessarily that I want to cheat, I dont even want it anymore really, but when you feel hungry all the time, anything and everything sounds soooo good! Doubts are beginning to cross my mind whether Im going to make it the entire 40+ days, merely because Im HUNGRY! Even after I eat, its not long before Im hungry again. Im following the basic plan and drinking 1 gallon of water daily, plus green tea. Today I was told to REDUCE my water intake to 60-80 ozs...not really sure why??? Ive released 11 lbs. in 6 days...not too bad...but why am I feeling hungry? I'm going to continue with my dose for the rest of the week to see if it subsides, then I'll see about changing my dose.

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions...please feel free to communicate them to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weight-losing week!!!!

MamaP3, Think about your hunger patterns, Are you hungry upon waking, Are you NOT hungry upon waking but it gets worse thoughout the day, Hunger worse after dosing, etc. . . Head on over to the urgent questions thread armed with details about hunger, method of hcg delivery and 'where' you are in the diet. Someone will help you with dosing adjustments if needed. Usually hunger settles down a bit after 4 or 5 days if dosing is good.

This little group is doing sooo well!! Love the advice on cheating and I can attest 100% to each cheat passed makes the next one easier to pass as well.

Who said they wanted to live a normal life and be able to have a slice of pizza every so often. You will be able to do that. Just FYI and this is a personal issue, Not that it's yours.....I was NEVER able to have 'just a slice' Maybe 4 slices and I am expecting that to still be a problem in the future. So one slice YES, 3 or 4 slices..... Nope! I suspect you will be visiting the cauliflower pizza thread as soon as you hit P3

Keep up the good work you guys! Lookin good!
