    Alright ladies...I am back!!

I needed to take some time to regroup...and now have regrouped! I sure have missed you ladies though!! Reading through the posts looks like everyone is doing well...wootwoot!!

So...I finally hit 15lbs this weekend...about friggin' time! Today is day number 27...which means I have only 16 days left. Since my weightloss has been slow, even after I changed my diet...thanks to sara and damsel...I will not set a goal for the next 16 days...I'll just let it play out and see what happens!

    You ladies rock!!

Good to see you back! We were missing you! :-) Glad you have regrouped - this diet is tough. I am just day 19 and thinking....how many more days!?

I wonder too about your weight loss - didn't you do Kevin Trudeau's Phase 1 Cleanse before - or another cleanse? So you lost like 30 something pounds even before starting? That might account for some of your slower losses - your body has also already released alot of fat!
If you want to - you could think about the products you are using - do you use a mint toothpaste? It makes homeopathics less effective (although you aren't hungry, right?), do you activate the bottle (tap before using)? is your bottle close to empty? some people find loss speeds up when they open a new bottle - but not worth it if you still have alot left, and aren't going to use much of the next bottle. What about other products? Hair conditioner? any hand cream? Fruit teas (some people have trouble with those), some people gain or stall with Truvia, Braggs, all kinds of things. I have read other people say they gain weight when they exercise...could that be slowing you down? Drink lots of water!

Glad you are back J4peace - and wishing for your success! PS - women average .5 - .75 a day - so you are still making good losses! Yay! And how about body shaping? Do you notice clothes fitting better?
hugs to you and everyone else!

@damsel: I didn't do a cleanse before I started, but I was on a vegan diet and lost like 30lbs from that. I have been using homeopathic approved toothpaste since I started on hhcg. I'm a bit of a tree-huggin-hippie so I was using dr. bronners soap before I started hhcg, now I am just using tate's natural soap for my hair, body and face and aloe vera gel as a moisterizer. I've been using thai deodarant stone for a while too. My bottle is almost empty and I have another one on the way. I do tap it before using. I stopped doing Bikram b/c i thought that was the source of my problem. I'll restart bikram when I am out of p2. I wasnt hungry, until the last 11 days or so. I have been feeling hungry pretty much all day, every day for that amount of time. today is a little bit better. I have to admit I've had to do some serious self searching b/c I feel weak etc. I decided to finish the course, but not really push myself to lose a lot more weight. If I can just get over feeling hungry I can make it another 16 days...but it's gonna be hard! I'm already plotting out my strategy for p3. i can hear the guacamole calling my name!

do you have a recipe? Or if its your own concoction, do you mind sharing how to make it? I seriously need a change of pace with my "coffee" in the morning!

Yayy glad to see you back as well j4!!

Sara I was referring to having green beans for lunch and spinach for dinner. Now that I think about it, green beans aren't on the original list. This could be possibly slowing my losses down. Hmmm....

Keep up the good work ladies!

Today I am starving! Its driving me crazy. Didn't get a chance to stop by the store for toothpaste or deodorant. I will today. All I have is lemon zinger today and I think I'm only allowed one. Definitely grabbing tea packets during lunch. This hunger is insane. I can get through this! Down only .2lbs today. Ill take it!
If I could just get out of the 200's!

Welcome back J4peace...its always good to take time to recoup, but we sure missed ya around here! Glad youre doing well.

As for me, I'm just getting really frustrated with all this...I GAINED a POUND! I havent cheated nor strayed, drink all my water, green tea, etc. but still, not only was there no loss, I gained weight. Im only on vlcd 10 and dont see the light at the end of the tunnel yet! Yet, I keep going, hoping the weight/scale gods will be compassionate and good to me in the morning! I can dream...

Sara...you mentioned six-week-body ealier in the thread...Id be interested in hearing about the program (I know it's suited more for P3), but I'd like to get a "peek." Have you tried it before? If so, how did you do on it? I saw an infomercial on it last night, but you always question its effectiveness and hesitate to "invest" since there are soooo many programs that promise results, ya know? Id appreciate it...

Here's to sticking it out another day!

Hang in there mama. I sure hope you see a drop soon!

Had my first cup of tea and feeling better. *sigh* when day 40 gets here I will be the happiest woman in the world. Taking it one day at a time is what I keep telling myself.

Sara id like to know more about the 6 week body Makeover as well, forgot to ask!

J4peace - been using dr. bonner's for more that a decade and a half - love reading the writting all over the bottle when I have a bath! lol! perhaps try switching the soap you are using? even if it is natural, it might have essential oils etc in it (i am an essential oil junkie - and my naturopath said no! only sniff them!), or since soap is made from oil and lye, that alone could be a problem for you? Maybe stop using the aloe vera gel? use it only when desperate? (that is what i am doing - cracked dry lips!) lol!
Several other people have mentioned not losing even when they are on protocol....some of my thoughts (take em for what they are worth!) lol!

Your body does need to catch up from time to time to the weight you are losing - so you won't lose everyday, but you are looking at averages over all. Also I read an interesting thread about how the fat is released from your fat cells (weight loss), then fill with water (weight gain? stall?) then the water drains (loss) and then the cell will die off and be removed from your body (apoptheis? or something). (there was alot of debate on this thread about whether you keep the same number of fat cells for ever or not - a link to an Oprah doctor saying yes, you can get rid of fat cells - they are with your forever! I am going with that! lol! So that process does cause some weight flucuations!

Second - you can follow protocol and not lose weight for several reasons - sensitivity to a food? ie, wheat, or shrimp - I know I didn't lose when I ate shrimp. Some people have trouble with strawberries, apples or oranges - I have read several people say they lost after cutting out a certain fruit to see what happened. I have also read several people say tomatoes caused problems for them - or beef, or a combination of beef and tomatoes together caused them to stall. So you can be on protocol and still have problems with some of the allowed foods. keeping a food diary and weighing daily are the best way to track these problems. May be a hard call, but might just be the key to losing! If you already have a food diary, maybe go back and see what you ate the day or two before you stalled and see if there are patterns?

Also - be sure you are weighing your meat RAW. I read someone somewhere say they were weighing their meat cooked and thought this was protocol, just thought I would mention it.

If you are hungry, post on the thread for immediate response and get dosing help - you should NOT be hungry (several of you said you are).

Hmmm...oh, and for food cravings, overwhelmed feeling that you cannot deal with with food right now (been there!) lol, check out Callahan's Tapping Technique - someone has posted the whole technique in a thread on here, so try it. It works - don't know why, but it does!

happy losing! I hope everyones losses pick up and that the hunger issues get solved!! :-)

ok, so the scale gods heard my request...not only did I lose yesterday's POUND, they threw in and extra pound+!! I knew it would, I keep reading that being on this diet, it does that...being patient is key...it's just frustrating when it happens, ya know?! Working so hard, practically starving yourself thin, and to wake up to a gain??? GRRR! Not a happy moment. But today is good day!

Hope everybody woke up to a loss today, big or small, but any loss is a GOOD loss! :P
