....It's only me? *sniffle*
Hello Everyone!
I know the protocol was originally developed in Italy, but it seems like most people in this forum are posting from North America. I have been checking out the forum for a while, but I'd like to know if anyone else outside the US has or is currently on the protocol....reason being is that I am living in Honduras, and I don't have access to many things like grissini or melba toast or "approved" shampoo.
So, for any of you out there who may be in a similar situation, please share your questions, comments, and experiences! Did you have to make any substitutions or modifications, or did everything go swimmingly?

Aww you seem so lonesome. Well I'm in the US so sorry but I can put my 2 cents in here. You can wash your hair wearing rubber gloves and in the sink or upside down in the tub if you can't find a suitable shampoo. I skip the grissini and melba toast altogether so you don't really "need" it. toothpaste you can use just plain ole baking soda. You can also order online for supplies if you can do that there. Do you have any kind of a "toast" cracker available there? No sugar added. Maybe some kind of a whole grain cracker would be ok. Just One though. basically I think the melba and grissini are in the diet just to give some crunch or some texture for those missing it. You'll just have to experiment and see. Hope you do well.![]()
Thanks, Feisty! I've already planned on following the advice you give; I'm just going to skip melba toast all together. As for ordering special products, I can do so, but it is a pain in the you-know-what and can take up to a month to receive items purchased online!
I'm quite surprised that nobody else is in the forum lives outside of the US. Y'all should try it sometime!![]()
