    For the Pescatarians

Hi everyone! This is my 1st post, and I have learned so much from this forum!

I am a "pescatarian" who eats very little fish usually, but have been eating it twice a day for 11 days now (ugggh- i miss my quinoa and tempeh). I have to admit that when I stuck to the 500 calories STRICTLY with a 19 CC injection, according to Simeon, I was starving, empty, light-headed, sleepless and frustrated. I called my Doc who increased my CCs to 23 from 19 for 3 days, and had me add the egg+egg whites in the morning. I was also directed to add 1 tblspn of olive oil per day. I FINALLY FEEL AWESOME! AND I STARTED LOSING MORE! He seemed to think that eating fish/crab only didn't supply me with enough protein, so my body felt ravished, and was holding on to the fat.

Other than that change, which brings me to about 550 cals, I am following Simeon. I will be back down to 19 ccs tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes. If I keep losing at least 1/2 per day, I will keep my eggs in the morning. I only have 35 lbs total to lose, so I am not losing the 1 pound per day that I assumed.

I also found that a candida cleanse the first 3 days with grapefruit seed extract helped a lot with the ridiculous hunger in the first 4 days. You can learn the symptoms at www.knowthecause.com

If you're feeling great on the higher dose...don't monkey with it! Dropping your dose will most likely result in hunger and such again. Hunger is the biggest sign of an incorrect dosage.

PS- The candida is a yeast that lives in the colon and is FUELED by sugar and starch. It releases a chemical in to bloodstream that tricks the brain into thinking its STARVING when the yeast is not receiving the sugar it needs. The thing I love about the HCG diet, is that it naturally starves out the overgrowth of the parasites, but will trick your brain into thinking you are starving to death as well. That is why the grapefruit seed extract is so helpful, it kills most of the yeast to minimize that chemical being released. www.candidasymptoms.net is another great site.

    Signs of overgrowth:
Frequent stomach pains and digestion problems
Skin problems (skin infections, eczema, psoriasis, acne)
    Foggy brain / Trouble concentrating
    Constant tiredness and exhaustion
    Anxiety
    Mood swings
    Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
    Anger outbursts
    Irritability
    Headaches
Intense cravings for sugars, sweets, and breads
    Itchy skin

Thanks Robbie for the quick advice! I have been hoping someone would say that b/c I do finally feel great after 10 days of feeling terrible. I also feel like I could eliminate the eggs in the morning now too. Should I?

If you're losing well...then don't change it. If you want to try to change something to see if you get better losses then cut out the olive oil. The fat from the oil would hinder your losses more than the protein/fat from the egg.

Are you eating the melbas? If so you can cut those out as well. Most of us lose better without them.

Ok then! I will keep my eggs- they tend to help me through until lunch, keep my dose, cut the oil. I haven't been eating the melbas. My only concern is that with a higher dose, does that mean i should in theory have less calories? Does it jive that I have added 50 cals from the eggs and 4 ccs of hcg?
