Thread: Returning to HCG after 7 years. Help with 2.0 and side effects!

Question Returning to HCG after 7 years. Help with 2.0 and side effects!

    Hi everyone!

My name is Ty and I'm so grateful to find this forum! I successfully did HCG back in 2013 and lost 40 lbs in 40 days.

I recently purchased drops from Nu Image medical which should arrive tomorrow. I'll do my loading days this weekend and start VLCD on Monday.

I have a few questions if anyone could help me out:

    1. I purchased two different 2.0 books. HCG 2.0 by Zach Laboube and HCG Diet by Sonia Russell. Each has a slightly different version of how to do HCG and I was curious if anyone had advice of which is better or which protocol has had more success?

    2. Also, trying HCG in the past, I've stopped after a few days because of lightheadedness and heart palpitations. Is there anything I can do to minimize this from happening as I start next week?

    Thank you for your help!
    Ty

    Hi Ty, and welcome.

There is a thread here based on HCG 2.0 by Zach Laboube. I'm not familiar with Sonia Russell.
You can find it here: Hcg 2.0 411 Information

Other 2.0 discussions are also available in that forum.

Lightheadedness during the low calorie phase can be caused by lowered blood pressure. If it happens this time, try some mineral salt in your water (1/4-1/2 tsp twice a day) and see if that fixes the issue for you.

Heart palps could be related to thyroid. If you are on thyroid meds, you may find you need to lower your dose during the protocol, as HCG does rev up thyroid activity.

My recent HCG round was with DietDoc. Our site owner has generously arranged for me to earn a small fee if you use my DietDoc or Nu Image Medical link to order your Hcg and supplies. Hi Ty! I'm currently doing the 2.0 protocol, pretty good results so far. Day 11 VLCD with an 8 pound loss. I'm hanging out on the Lovely Losers thread (check new posts or recent activity to find the group) You are welcome there or pm me with any questions. I'm not an expert but I've done 2.0 before with success. I really like it!
I back up Leez on the pink salt intake. I had two fainting episodes back in the winter of 17-18, part of the problem was low salt.
