5,000iu mixed with 8ml of Bac Water = ????

5000iu divided by 8 = 625 iu per ml or 6.25iu per unit.

30 units would be 6.25 x 30 = 187.5
27 units would be 168.75

you want your dose to be where you have little or no hunger. If those doses are fine then I wouldn't worry about it.

ps. you can mix with whatever volume of bac water you wish, it just means you have to do the math to calculate your dosage so that it's within a normal range. Over time we've come to a fairly standard mixing volume so that it's easier for us to all be on the same page.

Help! I mixed 6000iu with 6 ml of bac water. Nurse told me to fill syringe to 22. Does this mean that I am taking 220 dose? Isn't that too high?

Yes it is on both count. I would inject 15 units for a dose of 150iu.

Thank you Beth. Why is it that it is SO hard to find a Dr that actually knows a LOT about HCG. Thank you so much for answering my questions so quickly! Last year this time I did hcg and was in a great mood the whole time. I was doing 150iu each day. This time I am very agitated. Could this be because of my dose? The other thing that is different this time than last is I am on a low dose of testosterone and progesterone.

we have a lot more experience on a broader scale than most doctors could ever hope to have.

It could be your dose. It could also be the testosterone. It can make you agitated. Progesterone has a generally calming effect.

If you have been on the 220iu dose for several days and are having hunger issues, I would skip a day before adjusting the dose. That will lower the level faster.

Some people do mix their hcg with b12, but more recently we haven't been recommending it.

Did they give you a large mixing syringe or do they expect you to draw 10 times with the 1/2cc insulin syringe in order to mix?

Typically mixing 5000iu with 5ml is too tight of a mix and makes zeroing in a dose harder to do. We recommend mixing with 10ml of bacteriostatic water so that you have more leaway in adjusting your dose.

Also mixing 5000iu with 5ml total volume makes that mixture 1000iu per ml. a dose of 20 units is 200iu which is higher than we have round to be the normal. We usually recommend starting at 150iu.
