    No it won't affect anything. It's actually the way Simeons mixed his, so 50 units was 125 iu. But he also gave it 2" deep into the hip and most of us can't replicate that.

    I just mixed my injections. I am more confused now I am reading these posts. I used 5000 IU powder and mixed with 5 cc. My dosage is 200. My first injection I injected .2 Am I doing this correctly? I'm not sure I understand all the numbers.

    That is correct for the way you mixed, but we usually find that 200iu is too high a dose. I'd recommend going to .15 instead. Also next time you mix 5000iu I would suggest mixing with a total of 10cc bac water instead and taking twice the volume for an injection (ie .30 would be 150iu instead of .15). Usually mixing with a higher volume of bac water makes it easier to make minor changes in dosing when needed.

    if you have only done one injection and would like to switch your mixture so you can take the higher volume dose. You could add 4.7 cc more bac water to your mixture before your next injection.

    Complete newbie here. Is there a difference in dosing when you use a U-40 insulin syringe vs a U-100 insulin syringe? I am thinking it does, but could use some help understanding all of this. I was told to mix my 5000iu of hcg w/ 5ml of BW. with the U-40, how would one dose 150cc's. Does each little hash tag on the syringe equal 1cc? Help

    Hello, I purchased HCG from US HCG Shots and followed the mixing instructions on another website. So confused, it said to mi 5ml bac water with HCG powder then .17ml into each small syringe. I've done the diet before and followed this site's directions with US HCG Shots hcg, and had success but now I'm so hungry! Help! Could it be dosage?

    I responded in the other thread. 1 unit of U-40 equals 2.5 unites of U-100. A dose of 150iu mixed the way you did and using a U-40 syringe would be 6 units.

    That's a tight mixture. We prefer mixing 5000iu with 10ml of bacteriostatic water.

    The dose you are taking is 170iu. You likely need a lower dose. I would skip your next dosage, if you have done at least 4 days of injections, and then start taking 150iu or .15 ml

    US HCG Shots is pretty popular so you should be set with a lower dose.

    Thank you Beth, I saw your reply on the thread. I've taken two days off and tomorrow will be my first injection day on the correct dose. What a journey!

    I feel like I've completely lost the ability to do math after reading this lol.
    I'm finally ready to start, after reading this and other forums for a long time and chickening out every.single.time.

    Ok my question, I don't want to inject a lot of volume so using the chart here for 5000 hucog:

    Amount of HCG in Vial; Amount of bac water to draw
    2000iu; 3 cc/ml
    5000iu; 9 cc/ml
    10,000iu; 19 cc/ml

    5. Inject the bacteriostatic water into the mixing vial (not into the HCG vial)
    6. Draw all the liquid from the HCG vial
    7. Slowly inject the HCG into the mixing vial
    8. Remove the syringe from the mixing vial
    9. Gently roll the mixing vial between your hands to mix. DO NOT SHAKE.
    10. Wrap the mixing vial in aluminum foil to keep light away from the HCG and store it in the refrigerator.

    Injection Dosage:
    Regardless of what size of HCG vial you started with (2000, 5000, or 10000) the table below shows how much should be injected for the dose you select. Note: The reason the original size vial does not matter is because we have diluted the HCG in the same ratio with the bac water.

    HCG Dose Injection Amount
    125iu = .25 or 25 on an insulin syringe
    150iu = .30 or 30 on an insulin syringe
    175iu = .35 or 35 on an insulin syringe
    200iu = .40 or 40 on an insulin syringe
    To inject 15 on an insulin syringe daily, I would mix the hucog (liquid not powder) with 4cc/ml bacc water to get 150iu @ the 15 mark on the syringe?
    Do I have that right?
    The more I read, the more confused I got lol.
    Sorry about that and thanks for any advice or info

    with 5000iu vials you need a total volume of 10ml of fluid so you would add 9ml of bac water with the 1ml of liquid hcg. Then 150iu would be 30 units on the syring.

    I really don't recommend mixing so tightly (5000iu with 5ml total) because it can become hard to pinpoint your dosage exactly with drawing injections and can be hard to make slight dosing changes.

    Thank you, I appreciate the advice. 30 just seems like a lot of volume to inject! I'm a bit squeamish about the shots to begin with lol.

    30ml is not much at all really. I inject 60 or 70 units because I prefer the highest volume I can get. I feel the hcg absorbs better that way. The shots are really nothing at all. Usually what people have the hardest time with initially is the needle poke. The injection of fluid itself is minor.
