Thread: Subcutaneous Injection Mixing Instructions

  1. #601
    First Timer:

    Wish I had come here before i started but a quick review on another site and I though "No Problem" as I have done IGF peptide cycles in the past.

    I had 5000 iu of Pregnyl that I mixed 3ml of BAC with and stored in a separate vial.

    Going "IM" as HCG box suggested not SubQ - Should I change?

    Taking 11cc = apprx 183.26 iu - Not sure how long I should wait on hunger before I go up or down here to find the sweet spot.

    On Day 3 - 1st of VLCD and pretty hungry which is why I came back online to look this up again

    Meals seem pretty straight forward and I should not have an issue - but would like to confirm if it is ok to have 24g of whey protein after doing some lifting. EZ stuff - just 9 sets 3x a week. I am/was in pretty good shape just 2.5 months ago but a change up in PTSD meds has put my old diet and training in the dumps so hoping to lose 20 unneeded pounds!

    All help appreciated,
    RB

    If your HCG was in liquid form you mixed fine, if it was powdered, you needed another 1ml of bacteriostatic water for the regular mix. No matter really though...you just have to make sure your dose calculation is right. You can check your math with this formula: http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lations-21439/

    Always ignore the instructions on the box--those are for fertility treatments that use a one-time injection of the whole bottle. Subcutaneous is perfectly fine and so much easier.

    Your dose sounds high. I'd skip tomorrow and see how you feel after 4pm. If hunger is less--you should drop your dose the next day to 150iu.

    If you are doing activities you are used to, you don't need extra protein. The protocol says what is allowed is enough even for a construction worker. But some people who continue to work out swap an extra portion of protein for a fruit and seem to think it helps them. Its not on protocol, though, so proceed as an experiment.

    Thanks for quick response Leez.

    I will switch to SubQ - thx

    It was powdered - if the 1 extra ml is for sole purpose of making it easier I will leave it as is. If it needs to be diluted for some type bio-availability or something else let me know I will add 1-2 ml and do the math from there.

    I read on another site 175-200 iu starting point for men - That's where I got my 183 number. I will follow your suggestion and wait until 4pm tomorrow but what if my hunger is greater?

    49 and still pretty muscular - just added about 15 pounds in the last couple months of the unwanted type of weight. I think I will just skip my training for the next 3 weeks still and stick this out - no reason to complicate it Just a little worried about losing some hard earned muscle!

    Thanks again,
    RB

    That's a crazy potent mix and a very high dose especially for IM. Most don't add food with exercise so you'll have to see how you do with that. I would skip your next injection and see how you feel after 4 and into the evening. I'd actually drop that injection to 125 since you're doing IM.

    You should not add the extra bac water now since you've already drawn from it. You won't be able to calculate the dose closely enough. Less in the solution just makes it a bit harder to get the dose exactly right, but you should be ok with only missing 1 ml. You'll just need to try for the most exact measurement possible.

    There is no dose requirement difference between men and women. That's a fallacy. Dr. Simeons gave 125iu to everyone, from a frail little ladies to big burly guys. So at 150iu, you are still higher than that. If you have extreme hunger at any point, its more likely you'll need to drop again rather than to raise it.

    Over and over, there are reports from those who have had muscle mass measured before starting HCG and then again afterwards. In almost all cases, very little muscle, if any is lost. It really is truly remarkable. You'll likely find that you still have energy for normal things, but you wont' have endurance for strenuous activities. You'll likely find you are quite satisfied on the protein allowed in the menus.

    Hi Colleen,

    Looks like I will be dropping as needed after seeing how I feel tomorrow. Is the mix more bio-available IM vs SubQ? I'm fine using a little slim IM in shoulders and calves - I have been on HRT for 2 plus years so I am used to it.

    Thank you,
    RB

    i actually like IM. The last round I did I used it and it seemed to not build up in the body as much as SQ does. IM is what Dr. Simeons used so if you're comfortable with it, I'd use it.

    Leez and Colleen,

    No shot today and hunger basically gone. I will drop to 150 tomorrow.

    Much appreciated,

    If you're still doing IM you should drop to 125. That is the standard IM dose and rarely needs changing.

    How do I know which one of these to use? I followed the instructions for mixing the powder, 5000 IUs.

    HCG Dose Injection Amount
    125iu = .25 or 25 on an insulin syringe
    150iu = .30 or 30 on an insulin syringe
    175iu = .35 or 35 on an insulin syringe
    200iu = .40 or 40 on an insulin syringe
