    Time frame

    Quick question, Ive been taking HCG Drops for a few days now. Whats the longest amount of time I can take them for before i have to go into phase 3? I have 50 pounds that i want to lose. Thank you in advance for your responses

    You can do a long round -- 40-45 days. After that, you risk becoming immune to them. Also, the protocol says you shouldn't lose more than 40 pounds a round -- and that's only if you're very obese. Now, if you're doing homeopathic HCG, I don't think immunity is a problem, but still you don't want to do more than 45 days because if you lose too much weight your skin will be loose and gross, and depending on your age, it may take some time for it to shrink back. It took about 3 months for my skin to "shrink" after I did my first round.

    Plan: Two rounds with light exercise, then exercise and diet (the good old fashioned way!) to get the rest of the way to my goal from wherever I stand after 2 rounds.
    Overall Goal: 180lbs

    You won't build up immunity to any drops so no worries there but if you want to stick to protocol you would stop at 40 days or 40 pounds.

    Are you on prescription drops or hhcg,if they are hhcg make sure they actually have hcg in them. Not just amino acids.

    Thank you for the replies. I thought 40 days was the longest but i just wanted to make sure. I mean im kinda getting ahead of myself here. Im only on day two on phase 2 so who knows what will happen on day 40. I know that im not able to lose all my weight in one round but i was just wondering if there was anything longer than 40 days. I dont really know if im considered very obese. Im 30, 5'1 and 180 pounds For my height im supposed to be 125 but id honestly be happy with 140 so 40 pounds would be swell. Ive already given myself a goal of wanting to lose at least 20-25 this first round and if i lose that id be happy. I'm worried though because I know you cant use oil based stuff (moisturizers etc), but its VERY hot where I am and I cannot get away with not wearing deodorant. I use it in various places on my body where i tend to sweat (im sorry if this is TMI) but are there any suggestions as to what kinds i can use? I am willing to order online if i cant get it in a store. Ive tried those crystal sticks before that you have to get wet and then apply, those dont work for me. Any suggestions there would be Amazing. Thanks again!

    Many of us use all our same lotions deodorants etc with no problem. If you want to go oil free I think TOMS makes P2 safe one, WM carries it. There is a thread around some where with brands.

    A half a pound lost a day is a good loss, and often times people stall aorund week 2-3 so don't count on 40 pounds in 40 days. 20-25 this round is a great goal!

    I will tell you that I still use all of the same beauty products (I don't use any oil-based makeups though, because I have acne -- I use Bare Minerals stuff almost exclusively.) and the same deoderant and I haven't had any problems. It is possible however that I burn all that minute "extra" oil up because I exercise a bit for about 30-45 minutes a day. (WiiFit is the best!) So I'd say if it's a worry, keep it in. If you don't lose any weight, or stall -- especially in the first week, then I'd suggest trying an alternative.

    So my question is this: If I go on it, fall off it 4 weeks in, stop, 3 weeks later start again, do well for 2 weeks, fall off, etc (sheer lack of focus and tasting at work I gave into), I'm I messing with immunity issues? Do I need to stop totally for 8 weeks (2nd round) and make sure it's completely out of my system before going full out again in October? Please advise. The first round I was hard core and lost 40 pounds, but didn't stay carb free the following 3 weeks per protocol and wound up gaining it all back! I want to get it right this time (the diet is great and easy when I'm focused!).

    No you aren't messing with any immunity but what do you mean fall off, do you mean go back and eat whatever you want and regain what you lost? If so that is extremely hard on your body. It's easier for your body to stay heavy than to yo yo back and forth. Immunity isn't what you'd be messing up, it's your health you should be concerned about.

    If you can only stay focused for 2 or 3 weeks at a time why don't you check out the threads on cycling. You stay on a set # of weeks, then cycle into P3 and then back into P2. But you are going to P3 when you cycle, you aren't going back to eating whatever you want. It may be a good option if you are willing to stick to a proper P3.
