Here are my conditions:
I have just found out that I have Adrenal Fatigue, (low coritsol and DHEA) and will be starting Energy Multi Plex and ADB5 Plus and DHEA, 25mg.
I am taking for the last two weeks Thyroid Support Complex(low T3 & T4) and will be upping my hormones to 5mg Est. and 300 mg. Progesterone
(they are in the low range with the amounts I have been taking- 1.5 est. & 200 mg Prog)
As well as taking Vit. C, D, B complex, Magnesium. Digestive enzymes and probiotics! Sheesh sounds like so much....
So here is my story, I have successfully done HCG in the past, but the weight kept getting harder and harder to keep off. The last round that
I did - was super slow in loosing, but as soon as I started P3 - I could not stabilize. As soon as I added just more of the same food I had been eating
I would gain. It was like my body would only be happy at 500 calories. I truly believe that my hormones are total messed up because I was doing
everything right, just could keep the weight off.
For the last 4 months I have struggled with my weight gaining 15 pounds in just three months --- I am freaking out. But it doesn't seem to matter what
I do.
I am 5"2, ideally like to weight 118-120, but am currently 140. and am 51 years old.
So I need to do another round of HCG. I think I am going to order from NuEdge and get the injections( I have been doing drops) because that seems to
be more powerful.
But here is my question - sorry this is so long..... But am I stupid to try and loose weight while these hormones are so out of whack? But I feel that the more
I keep gaining the harder it will be in the long run. So maybe plan on a long round and maybe a second????
I would love any feed back -
Thank you, Sherrie
Thank you for asking....
So, at first I was "over dosing", I had the mixing and dosing directions wrong. The first couple of weeks were really rough - but it has really weakened my adrenals even more.
My energy is really low and I had a hard time sticking to it. Since I was dosing way more then necessary at first, I am not really going to get a full round in.
My plan is finish out best I can, try and stabilize and then do another round.(I have only lost a few pounds)
I am seeing a new Naturopathic Dr. who is going to help me balance my hormones(est & prog) and changed some of my adrenal supplements, so hopefully that will help too.
Bottom line -- not doing too well!!
Hi. How are you doing? I am wondering how the dr diagnosed you with adrenal issues. I suffer with low energy lots of times, and now on the hcg (day 3 VLCD) and yesterday, I could go to sleep by 8pm. I've had an energy issue off and on for years! Thanks!

This was my exact situation! Lost about 80 pounds in 2011, kept it off for quite a while then the pounds started creeping back on even though I was eating very clean. Went to one Dr. who essentially blew me off. Then finally was diagnosed hypothyroid with adrenal fatigue. From that point on I started taking natural dessicated thyroid and trying to get to the bottom of my adrenal fatigue. It is very important to do a salivary cortisol test 4 points throughout the day to determine if and when your cortisol is high or low. Without knowing that it is very hard to pinpoint what supplements you should be taking to help wth the adrenal fatigue. I am starting a round right now in hopes I can lose about 35 pounds. Praying this works.
Start 320 * Current 195.6* Goal 150
P3
Desiccated thyroid doesn't do anything for adrenal issues. The adrenal supports the thyroid so if you fix the adrenal issues you can usually take less thyroid. It's hard to fix those darned adrenals!

I'm also on armour thyroid. When I first started it, I felt even more fatigued because adrenals were fatigued and the armour made it worse. Dr. advised to use Designs for Health Adrenotone and Adrenal Complex. In a few months, my cortisol levels were fine and I was able to tolerate increase in armour. Now on 195mg and feel great. Still taking my adrenal vitamins!
