this diet broke me out bad I am 27 but my face makes me feel like I am a 14 year old. The bad part is when I was a teenager I have never broke out this bad at all. I keep getting them around my chin. I just use pimple cream there's no oil in it.
I was wondering if anyone has had problems with breaking out with little bumps on the face while on this diet. I just notice yesterday that I am starting to get bumps on my face, their on my forehead in between my eyebrows. And if you have had that problem what do you use that is HCG friendly while on the diet.
Thanks for the info, I was the same way I never had breakout before starting this diet and was wondering if their was something I could use. My breakouts aren't to bad yet I hope they don't get to bad either, cause I have 4 more months of drops to go.
Yes, much worse the first round than the second. I think because I had more fat to lose first round and my endo told me that we store estrogen in our fat. When the fat is released so is some estrogen. This is also why my menstrual cycle is all messed up during hcg (lasts almost the whole time). Of course, I am really sensitive to hormones and not everyone has either one of these reactions.

Your skin is technically your largest organ..and it plays it's part in waste elimination, as well as being influenced by hormones, both injected and released from fats. Also, your body is under some stress when you are losing weight. It wants to hang onto those fat stores fore a rainy day! There are a lot of things stored in fat...and as we lose it, our bodies use every exit option available! Lol! Treat the pimples with what ever works for you. They will clear up when you go on p3.
Yes, my skin is usually very clear but this second round I did get some red bumps after I started doing detox baths. I figured it is better than the detoxins being eliminated through my liver.
I have had more pimples lately than ever as a teenager, I also have more wirey hairs on my chin and neck area than ever before and my libido is way out of control. I'm thinking these are all connected to PCOS, and the testosterone being out of whack. Can't wait for this phase to pass. Another reason to keep my weight down - for good!
Yep, sounds like testosterone for sure, and that stems from PCOS. Losing weight will definately help the symptoms, but not take them away completely. Hang in there!

It sounds like normal detoxification symptoms. Sometimes you can also get rashes. When I first started, my rosacea got really bad and I rarely have outbreaks...it wasn't until the hcg rashes that I realized I actually may have rosacea. I just make sure to remove any makeup before bed and can dab on some benzoyl peroxide if needed...but I don't have that jaw acne anymore because it was actually caused by a food allergy from dairy products so my skin is fairly clear and I'm a few weeks into my current round. btw if you break out around your chin and jaw area primarily, it's most likely due to a dairy allergy so pay special attention to that when you start trying to add foods back during P3 because if it causes breakouts then it probably will cause gain too.
Also, witch hazel is hcg approved and a nice gentle toner for your skin after you wash your face to help with any bumps, excess oil or breakouts.

Rashes and pimples are detox, Kristen, but the wirey chin hairs and increased libido are probably testosterone related, which we see a lot with our PCOS members.

I was just responding to the original post, I had to read all the comments to figure out why you mentioned that. I'm glad you did too because I noticed one black hair on my neck, and these two other pesky whiskers, one right on my chin and the other on my jaw...but my mom has a couple of those too and she doesn't have PCOS and is about 5'2 120 lbs so I figured it was just a normal genetic thing. I might actually have PCOS myself though...but I know (due to having created twins) that I hyperovulate naturally so the pink spotting I just associated with ovulation spotting which is common for high fertility...could actually be PCOS? I did every now and then get sharp pains in my lower abdominal area that my mom told me might be PCOS from my grandma...
...Eh maybe not. I just read more about it online and it just doesn't seem like me. The only thing I saw about hair was "•Body hair growing on the chest, belly, face, and around the nipples" but I don't think that would explain the random whisker or two...wouldn't that be more like darker & thicker facial hair...regardless, I'm sure that's due to some sort of hormonal imbalance due to obesity but I had these whiskers when I was 115 lbs too.

Is it your breath? It could be ketosis. That just means you have switched from burning carbs to burning fats. Are you eating both your fruits each day?
