    MS and the HCG Diet

    Hello all!

Brand new and going to start HCG soon. I have MS and chronic pain. I know losing weight will be key for getting healthy again. Anyone hear of any tips or anything regarding MS and HCG? Or chronic pain?

Welcome! Don't eat the melba. Anyone with an autoimmune disease like MS will do much better with no gluten. You will probably find your pain is better while on the protocol because of pulling out the foods that usually drive the pain. Good luck!

There are some exciting therapies to alleviate symptoms for MS and chronic pain that use low dose naltrexone (LDN). If you haven't explored it yet, you might search out information on that and see where it takes you. There have been some studies done on it in regards to MS, so it is a legit avenue of treatment. It works by causing your body to produce more endorphins, and also somehow can bring balance to the immune system, so it is being used to treat a wide variety of auto-immune disorders.

You may find that you feel really good while you are on the HCG protocol. Many of us with immune disorders do. And of course, it is amazing to lose weight quickly without hunger. It has been a miracle for me. I'm happy for you to find this miracle too.
