Yes that's right. You're still very low. For the first 2 or 3 days you may feel a bit of a fast heartbeat. That's normal and should calm right down. If it doesn't, then you could lower it a bit but I doubt you'll have any trouble.

I'll go back to doing the 25 mcg twice a day. Guess I reduced it since my nature is no drugs (try as I may), so thought I would back off the amount of the second dose.

Are you back to feeling better/ normal after the weird attack?

Yes, I agree, dose based on your symptoms. Keep track of your heart rate though, and back off its high, or you feel a pounding in your chest.

I felt pretty awful yesterday, Carry. My blood sugar dropped to 60. I've really pounded down the coconut water for 2 days though and I'm much better today. Thanks for asking.

Once your reverse T3 is cleared out, you can switch to Armour if you like.

Good news that the coconut water helped!

Thanks for the tip to switch to Armour. ... Is that better? Does reverse T3 get to zero when it clears?

It didn't do that before when I was using two doses of 25 mcg (total 50). For whatever reasons, I reduced the second dose recently. Yes, I really need to get into the bhrt doc now. I've been talking about it for awhile now. LIW was in March....

If you don't feel adverse symptoms, you are probably still in a theraputic range.

ILuvKats, I think that this conversation just put something into perspective for me. I am on Armour Thyroid and have been having a high pulse rate. Whenever I take my blood pressure it is normal but my pulse is high. So, that could be due to my thyroid it sounds like? (Also, I have read alot and get varied opinions on what is too high a pulse rate). I take 1 grain of Armour thryoid in the morning. I am getting nervous now that maybe I am "overdosing". Would I want to cut it back and see if my pulse rate drops or should I just stop taking the thyroid at all? What do you think?

Thyroid has to be titered up slowly, Kansas. But glad the progesterone is helping! When you've been on the Armour 2 weeks, ask to double the dose.
