The drinks mix's do contain some cane sugar [ 4g ] but was wondering if a fruit [or both] was excluded if it would be ok?
They also have a tea that is supposedly very effective for a BM in the a.m.
I have a g/f who sells it and wants me to try it.
I just started my R4 VLC 3 today
I think your best bet would be to try it and monitor your results. That is one thing that is great about the HCG Diet, you can monitor your results and know within a day or two whether you have an issue. However, typically, I have seen cane sugar be a problem with most of my clients even when trading for a fruit. Be careful and make sure you are very aware and make adjustments as needed.

Ok, so yesterday I started spraying it on. I put 1/4 tsp in an 8 oz spray bottle. Sprayed it on my arms and legs. This morning I gained .4 lbs. I wonder if it could be from the msm? I am giving it one more day to see. It seems my hair loss has lessened already though, unless it's just placebo effect.

So, is that how you do it? Or do you only mix it with a tiny bit of water that you can use in one day so you get the whole 1/4 tsp dose each day?

That's exactly how I do it. I put 1/4 tsp with about 1/2 - 1 cup of water (not sure how much my little spray bottle holds). Then that lasts for at least a week. You don't need to mix a new batch every day.

It's never affected my weight loss and I know lots of other people who use it in P2 without any problems, but everyone is different. Did you do anything else that might have caused the gain?

Ok, well yesterday I got my period so I'm sure that is why the weight gain because today I lost 1.4 lbs. It came a few days early so I didn't know why the weight went up when it did, but it makes sense now. I'm not gonna panic. As for anything else I could have done...not really. I don't cheat on this diet, and I didn't do anything "new". Thank you.

Yep, I'm sure that was the culprit. I didn't mean to imply you cheated, I just wondered if you possibly used something else (lotion, etc.) that might have caused it. Hope the MSM works as good for you as it has for me!

No problem, I was just stating that because so many people do cheat and wonder what happened. Not me...if I'm going to go thru this, then it had better be worth it, so I'm gonna do everything in my power to make it work its best. I'm going to put more msm in my bottle because I haven't noticed anything and I think my bottle is bigger. I am still on the same bottle and it's only about 1/4 down. Making it a little stronger.

Paula, I'm sure adding more would be fine. I feel the same way about hCG. If I'm going to do it I do it 100% with no cheats.

Sometimes very dry hair is a symptom of a vitamin A deficiency. When I see this with at least one other symptoms such as dry skin, brittle nails, night vision uncomfortable, vaginal dryness , chronic coughs (all the mucus linings are affected by a deficiency of vit. A) I start taking water soluble vit A till the symptom corrects itself. It's worked for me and others . Just something to consider.

Okay, really? Just spraying your hair with it works?
I was considering injesting it as the directions say.
Why do you think spraying it(and I"m not doubting you at all) works over drinking the stuff?
Wouldnt drinking it be better or, oo ohh, both

    What do you all think?
I have a can of Doctors Best MSM rite in front of me, never opened. and losing hair in chunks, well , it has calmed since I lost the weight but I"m starting vlcd R 3 sunday so... very scary

I've also found MSM powder helpful with the hairloss that sometimes comes from fast weight loss.

I buy Now Foods brand and mix about 1/4 tsp. with water and put in a little spray bottle. Then spray that on after the shower and let it air dry. It really works! No more hair loss! It's also supposed to help with loose skin. Not sure if it does or not because I also do dry skin brushing.
Doing the best that I can , from where I am. All is well
