    Has anyone eaten salmon on p2 consistently

    I CAN'T EAT TILAPIA!!
    OR CHICKEN! it's gross!!!!! I' ate many things in the past 2 days and didn't gain... And had a small loss... If I stick to salmon I can live! I can do all 40 days... But has anyone else consistently eaten this and still loss.. A lot of you all eat all kinds of stuff and still are successful.. I only want my salmon!! And I can do it!!

    I tried salmon a few times and stalled or gained. Just see how your losses go. If you gain or stall, move to shrimp. I'm not a big tilapia and chicken fan, but since I couldn't do red meat all the time I would also incorporate shrimp and halibut in my menu...did well with those. Good luck!

    I've only tried salmon when I was doing hcg 2.0. It did not seem to affect my losses. When doing the original, I haven't tried salmon since it's such a fatty fish and fats are a no-no if doing the original.

    Wild caught salmon is less fatty than farm-raised. So if I was going to experiment on myself with salmon, I would choose the wild-caught.

    Yes I gained 1 or so, so I won't eat it until I get tired of my chicken soup but maybe it's a gain from another day..hopefully because there shouldn't be any way that I didn't gain the day after I ate ice-cream but . I gained after eating salmon it's all just catching up prob I'll try salmon on a week when I haven't cheated and see! And it's good to know wild caught us better

    Determine not to cheat again. Cheating is a decision.

    Why sabotage yourself when you are putting in this extreme effort? It just doesn't make sense.

    Yeah it's a big difference in what I was eating so I try to not beat myself up.. Because going from no self control to having a lot.. That's a start.. I'm still down 9/10 pounds in 10 days. But I know that this next week I'll do better because I'm feeling great and not feeling like eating everything in sight like normal... So now no more cheats.. I gotta lot of weight to lose though so its hard.. I think I'm gonna try and do 10 minute work outs on elliptical since I don't do much walking right now

    Doing short sessions on the eliptical is a great idea. I bet it will contribute to your sense of well being and optimism too.

    Try not to focus on how far you have to go. It's a trite-ism, but very true that the longest journey is made one step at a time. In P2, I try to keep my eyes only on the steps for the day.

    I think it helpts to look for small things you can enjoy in each day. Sometimes it could just be a simple as running my hand over my abdomen and realizing it feels a little flatter. Or soaking in a hot tub with some pretty smelling bubbles. Here's to finding some joy each day.

    Yes yes you know that's is the best advice! Don't focus on how many days I have left just, let them pass.. That's true. And yes I did work out on the elliptical last week and I felt amazing! I could've done a longer session.. I am normally out of breathe by 3 minutes but not anymore.. Hopefully it's not all in my head. If it is the who cares... My head is what got me here in the first place right? Lol a lot of times I can't even believe that I got through the day only eating twice!

    Hi! Haven't tried salmon, but did eat smoked trout last night and -1 today. Ate it again this morning. Don't think I'll get it again for this, but thought I'd give it a try if that helps. Reading about Siesta Beach and thinking that if my fats are a little higher, make sure that carbs are 20 or under, make sense?

    Yeah that make sense! Ill try trout. I've never had it though.. What type of taste does it have compared to tilapia? Hopefully tastes more like salmon or something..

    Steelhead trout (aka red trout) has a comparable taste and nutritional profile to salmon. You can often find it cheaper to buy as well.
