I hate tilapia too! Do you like shrimp? There is a recipe somewhere for hcg cocktail sauce! I normally eat chicken, steak and ground sirloin (chili) keeps it changing! ☺

Misr- So sorry to hear you're in pain and struggling. That must be discouraging. Hang in there! Maybe with hcg you'll be able to figure what works for your body and what doesn't. Are you tracking what you eat? Everything? I use myfitnesspal.com and it really helps to stay on track and with the higher fat days and low carb days, or low fat and higher protein 30g crbs. Did you ever discuss this with a nutitionist?

I found another thread with Leez as a moderator, Thread: January 2017 Loaders - Resolved and Ready. You might want to check it out as she's a weath of information and the group is like us, upbeat, inspired and I think you'll like it. Come on over! Hothot...you too!

Take care of yourself. Really think about what you think the causes are. Maybe you can use the process of elimination to figure out what food is hurting you. Just try the suspects one at a time. Ginger tea might also help. You're lucky that you don't feel like eating, I usually do....And you're so right, you're lucky you're not diabetic and because you keep at this and stick with it and know what your outcome is. Stay strong my friend!!!

Thanks so much for your support! Yes process of elimination is key.. Ill try that! And yes I shall check out the January loaders. I think I maybe have found my culprit.. I heard sinus issues are linked to food allergies and yesterday I ate eggs for my meals... And that's it.. And woke up with sinus issues.. Ill hang in there. It's just a long journey! Ugh.. And if you're still hungry.. How long have you been on hcg..?!

Yes, come over to the Resolved and Ready side! There's lots of support over there and I really think yu'll like the mindset and be an asset.

Wow, you're right, could be eggs. Do you love them? Today is VLCD 8. I always get hungry on hcg from time to time. Ate 3 boneless, skinless chicken thighs yesterday, stayed within the parameters and no loss. No more thighs for me. I'm not a big chicken fan anyway. Making beef jerky today and just took some grass fed ground beef out of the freezer.

Ill take a look at that thread.. And yes my losses are a little slow.. I'm on day 17 with 14 pounds loss... I haven't weighed in today though so hopefully the scale will surprise me.. So I'm about 3 pounds behind. I am a little rogue.. But it helps me get through my 40 days.. And yeah i was eating salmon for a few days and it prob made me stall too.. Cuz I did lose slower last week.. And yeah chicken isn't my thing... But I been wanting to try egg drop soup... But again... I think I'm allergic to eggs.. Ill know for sure if I eat them one more time.. Beef jerky I used to eat the store bought kind all the time! But I dunno how to make it.. It' sounds like a top chef kinda thing lol. But sounds delicious!

Went out to dinner last night. Ate over 800 calories with too high fat and carbs around 30...+1. I ate sashimi with soy sauce so, not terrible. I have been craving it from before I started. I'm back on board again.

You're not behind at all. I make egg drop soup. It's really easy. Now I'm just using the whites. Just stir them in. Oh yeah, the allergies. Btw, so is jerky. And it's portable. I just google a few recipes and improvise. it always turns out great. Don't think it's something you can screw up. Just use the spices you like, some liquidy stuff, this time I used some dijon mustard, coconut aminos and lime juice and some liquid smoke. Get some eye of the round or top or bottom round. Ask them to slice it for you or put it in the freezer until it's semil frozen to slice it. Then make your marinade. I put it in a ziploc for a day in the fridge, turning it a couple of times. Next day, cook in a very slow oven for several hours... delish!

This sounds so so delicious! And as far as going out. You're right just get back on track. In fact don't even look at it as you bring off track! Because that can hinder you! That's what I have to make sure at least. I try to weigh myself no matter what I eat. I've actually been eating my cheat snack every other day only when I'm at work do i have it. But if I can make some semi sweet jerky.. Or anything sweet other than fruit..that would be great I do think that if I make my own little cheat snack then I'll definitely more success than eating my cheat snack at work.. To be honest I should go ahead and buy the chocolate flavored Stevia! Well 800 calories isn't that much over..and 300calories, depending where you work.. Or how Busy you are, will probably be burned just by everyday walking throughout the day... I use an app on my phone and if I take about 7000 steps a day I burn like 600 calories. So try remembering that when you cheat.

That's good to know! Thanks. Yes, buy the chocolate stevia and I'm sure you could make your jerky sweeter with stevia or how about sweet and sour? stevia and lime or lemon? You're doing great! Look at how much you've lost and you've got a very positive attitude. Please, please please, come visit the other thread. You'd be such a great fit and I have a feeling you'll love the people there. The more the merrier, right?
