Today I had 1214 calories, 94 fat, 12 (total) carbs and 86 protien. I added in 2 Tbsp of hwc my coffee and some mac nuts.

I'm hoping I see a loss tomorrow. I'm gonna leave out the protien powder and preworkout I think for a while.

Now i realize just because it worked for me in the past doesn't mean it will work for me this time since ive found every round is different strangely. Wish me luck HCG & Siesta Beach
Now that we are doing low-carb, a fat fast fits right in! Here I had thought that was so bad before! So what do I know? Good luck with it.

So I said I was taking 1 meal off. I went out for a special lunch.

Lynne, I hope your body can handle the calories and fat and that you get a huge loss tomorrow. Then I'll be super jealous!
The doc eats a whole chicken, but I ate the majority of a 1.5 lb pack of chicken thighs yesterday, so I think that is about the same. I figure the thighs help keep the fat % up. And I am a 58 yr old woman.

Once he gets past day 28, he recommends a cheat meal once a week. Not a cheat day though. This whole thing is starting to agree with me, especially after the delicious meal at Mac Grill, and I can envision myself sticking with it (again). He mentions a couple products, like Stop It! to curb sugar cravings and i____ (something) for when you plan a sugar cheat. Nice to know there is something there. He also recommends a liver detox. I have a homeopathic one that has 3 bottles, and I put 10 drops from each bottle in a bottle of water, then I drink it over the course of the day. It is probably something I should do even when not dieting.

That sounds reasonable as far as the calories, but I would be afraid of hunger.

You might want to have that protein post-workout instead, where I think it will help you build muscle. Also, he mentioned D-Ribose for energy. It is amazing and I have taken a tsp before a workout and had amazing energy throughout. Even the trainer noticed. (This was way back when I had a trainer). I'm not sure if it is sugar alcohol, but I think it must be if it is *allowed*. Reminds me I should get some.

AFM: This is the 4th day of my SB, I woke up at 3am, so not enough sleep. Weighed at 5 and I was down .6, but I figure it would have been more if I had waited till my normal time. I won't know until tomorrow, because I have been eating an early breakfast to comply with the docs protocol. Yesterday was about 3000 calories, 12 carbs. I think I will stop counting those pesky cream, egg, and cheese carb fractions. Seems like it varies by product, and I suspect my raw cream is free from carbs. My thinking is that if butter has no carbs, cream should have none either.

If I had a loss, I will wonder if it is due to the diet, or the MIC shot I had yesterday. It's worth mentioning that my first round was my best, and I used MIC sublingual drops for that round.

Good morning everyone. I'm up .2 this morning. Not sure why but carbs were 13 yesterday, more fat than protein and more calories than the day before. Seems I should have seen a lose so I'm not very happy about it. The nice thing is, though, I have no hunger and no cravings and I'm very happy about that! I really need to get back to my exercise routine. I could say I've been too busy, and I have, but that's no excuse as I'm always busy.

Lynn, D-ribbose must be sweet because it seems the doc used it as a sweetener, too? I need to go back and read as I more or less did a fast read to get the major points. Your B12 shot should give you some good energy. It's the superior way of getting B12. So good to see you had a nice drop

Last10, so glad you are feeling better about yourself today. Sometimes you just have to step back and give yourself a break. It all can be so overwhelming at times and very frustrating

I so appreciate everyone else's input as we all go through this new plan. I'm sure glad I'm not alone in new territory!

Lynn I'm so jealous of how high your calories are and you are still losing!
I'm down 1.4 today after back to my old menu. 1 lbs away from where I left off before my break. Maybe when I get to 165 I'll try another day of sb eating but for now I have to keep it safe. Going out of town next weekend so I have to prepare for a gain.

Lynne, my experience with decades of low carb is that once we eliminate the carbs, we don't really get carb cravings or sugar cravings as long as we keep it clean. I find my cravings to be for fat! Fatty ribeye, HWC in my decaf, Mac nuts are my biggest craving. I wonder if they have anything nutritional that I might be missing. I did a stint of zero carb eating back in 2009. The only thing I craved was crunchy veggies. I think his products are a money maker for him. I hated when Atkins started selling products. I still have Atkins 1972', pre products and net carbs.

The one sugar thing that I do is to break a Lily's a Dark Chocolate bar into the 30 scored pieces and have 1 square after dinner for 10 calories. I savor it on my tongue. I figure it's Stevia not sugar and its a heavenly 10 calories. A bar lasts a month.

So what is MIC? Congrats on getting to eat all those calories and drop weight!

Jnurse, I want to know if you can pull off the fat fast w/o hunger. Like Lynne, I am afraid of hunger. Protein keeps me full longer.

Sorry you're up Ellyn but it's negligible. You did great on the carbs. I'm in week four and feel like it's day 1 as far as understanding what will make this work for me.

I didn't realize the doc said cheat meal at day 28 once a week. That would be when carbs were 30-40 lifetime plan. So I guess I had my cheat meal at 24 days, not 28. I had a bowl of cioppino and 1 slice of Jnurse, I want to know if you can pull off the fat fast w/o hunger. Like Lynne, I am afraid of hunger. Protein keeps me full longer. tomato sauce. Expected worse on the scale. Maybe it will bite me tomorrow.

    Yesterday:
    30 minute walk

    Eats:
    1258 calories
    75 fat
    41 carbs
    22 fiber
    70 protein

If I counted net carbs, I'd still be under 20. Not bad for a cheat meal. Too bad it was sodium and tomatoes or I might not be up. Hopefully the feeling sorry for myself is out of my system.

So, I'm curious about what your losses have been over time and while I get that everyone is different, see what I can learn from those with more experience. 746 6 42 91 is what I had yesterday. A lot of protein and guess what??? Down 4 lbs, which is 1 less than starting weight. Big celebration in S FL. Want to keep up the pace. Ate a hard boiled egg, @ 6 oz steamed mahi mahi w/****akes a la nom nom paleo minus the oil as I hadn't read this forum, @ 6 oz grassfend hangar steak and @ 1 oz mac nuts.

Going to experiment with keeping the carbs super low and various protein/fat combos for now.

Yay Robin! My losses have been terrible so I'll let JJ, JenH, Kats and others respond. I'm a notoriously slow loser so I give Siesta a bad name.

Your menu looks fantastic. I eat a lot of Mahi Mahi and grass fed beef too. Primal roots!

Your loss this morning will be the envy of everyone here so get up on the table and dance! HCG & Siesta Beach

    Good morning ladies!

Lee and JJ, you guys are too funny. Thanks for the laughs yesterday!

    Robineka, great loss! Congrats!

Hope everyone else has a good morning - sorry I have to be quick, busy day today.

    I'm down .4 to 139.0. Yesterday I had 1483 calories. 92g fat / 19 g total carbs / 143g protein. Macros were 56% fat, 39% protein, 5% carbs.

Hopefully I'm going to continue losses - I think maybe I've figured out the best ratios for me to get losses using SB. I think the trick is for fat to be a bit higher than protein, but not by too much. For example when I lost 1.8 overnight I was at 51% fat and 44% protein. Going to try and get closer today and see if my theory is correct.

Tonight will be another late night for me with little sleep, so most likely won't weigh tomorrow. Also, tomorrow is day 28 for me, but I'm not sure if I'm stopping yet. If I can see a loss on Saturday I might keep going. Not worried about immunity since I'm on HHCG - and I also don't take the high dose like the Dr. did.

    Happy Thursday everyone!
    Jen
