    Jon Jon - hey!

    Everyone else, how are you today?

    I'm down .6 today - weight was 140.2. Ate dinner out - chicken/broccoli but with a side salad using ranch dressing that had cheddar cheese. I was a little nervous about trying it, but I guess it was ok. .6 isn't an unusual loss for me at this point - today is VLCD 6 for me.

    Just took my pellets and about to have some coffee/half and half.

    Stay warm ladies! It's FREEZING here!

    Good job on the losses ladies. At least if you get hungry on this plan you can eat. No forcing yourself to wait until the next meal. One of the things I love about low carbing.

    A 5lb load gain isn't bad, it will drop quickly.

    AFM today is day 2 of load, didn't weigh this morning so no idea what I'm up yet. I forgot until I was half dressed and no way was I going to get undressed to weigh, too cold for that. Hopefully I remember to weigh tomorrow. If not I'll go off my preload weight. I'm eating enough carbs for everyone

    SO excited for you all!!! You're doing great!! I can't WAIT to get started in a few days!!

    I just want to point out that HWC has 0 carbs where as half/half has 1 gram.

    Hey Jen ~ so excited to see you're here too! And great on the loss!

    Yes, I am using HWC and yes I LOVE that I can eat when I need too and don't have to count calories and can have variety!

    Funny thing is I made an omelet with 3 eggs, 1/4 cup sausage crumbles and a few banana pepper rings and I'm not hungry now. And it was really good!

    I'm using my fitness pal to chart my foods.

    I'd do HWC if I could, but I can't find one around here without carrageenan, and I get inflammation from it EVERY time I try it. :-(

    I think I'll buy more HWC after 1/2 runs out. Jen uses half do I picked some up. I figured less calories and I have carbs to spare but not as yummy,

    Not doing Pilates today so lowering my numbers.

    Sorry you can't find any without the carrageenan Jen. I was able to find some at Whole foods. I was going to use Half/Half until I saw I could use HWC without the carbs so I bought 2 bottles. I need to portion it out into 1 cup containers and put it in the freezer. I notice it doesn't have a very long shelf life. It freezes good, you just have to shake it up really good once it thaws.

    It's mind boggling how much fat we can have and lose! Yes, a HUGE experiment but I sure am glad I'm part of it! All because I couldn't find your chili recipe! LOL

    I was on load day #2 yesterday and had uncured pepperoni. I could not believe how much better it tasted then the regular. After I get going on this plan, I think I'll try some pepperoni and cheese lettuce wraps for lunch.

    Oh that is a BUMMER!!! I'm lucky to have a Trader Joe's right around the corner that carries one.

    So LAME how they all add that awful ingredient….it really ticks me off
