Scotland, I hope you will keep posting your meal plan. It's very helpful! Are you eating 3.5 oz protein or more/less when you eat it at a meal? I often eat just protein at a meal when not on Hcg.

Last and Scotland, I was vacationing in St Martin for 2 weeks. Internet is a bit sketchy there, so I was not on the forum a lot. I fell toward the end of the vacation on those darn slick Caribbean patio tiles. I was wearing cute flip flops that had zero traction, and the tile was a little wet. I was lucky...a guy slipped in the same spot the next day, hit his head...lots of blood, concussion, hospital stay...etc. I didn't even go to the hospital. I knew instantly I had broken at least one rib. I waited until I got back to the US to get an X-ray to confirm. Doesn't matter though...treatment is rest, and let them heal. Unfortunately, there's no rest for me because it's year end and everyone wants surgery before their deductible kicks back in January 1. I'm a nurse anesthetist, and if I take a sick day, they have to shut down an operating room and reschedule all the surgeries scheduled for that room. Lol. Arrrg! I'm three weeks into it today, and they are doing a lot better. I've got 3 to 6 more weeks before they are healed. My co workers have been helping me out a lot. They let me take the longer cases, so I can sit more and not have to run around as much. And when it comes to moving patients over to their stretcher, someone appears and pushes me out of the way and moves the patient for me. :-). God bless them. :-)

you guys could never drive me crazy, Last....no worries. :-).

OH Kats….so sorry to hear that, that is awful….I hear how VERY painful broken ribs are not to mention how VERY long they take to heal. Major bummer that you have to work right now, but thank goodness for the great co-worker and thank goodness that they are giving you some what of a break. Keep taking it easy!!! Glad that they are at least feeling better now too. And that poor guy….uhhhh!!!!

Last - No, totally NOT weighing my protein (I never did in my last P2's either)…..not counting calories….just eating SUPER low carb and until I'm full like I mentioned earlier. I had eggs w/ valentina (hot sauce) yesterday and 2 cups of decaf w/ hwc (1 was my dinner) and my zucchini and burger w/ ranch for lunch. As I already have burgers & zucchini already made I will more than likely do exactly the same thing today

Oh, and I'm down -1.5 but it makes me wonder….is it because I have cut out: alcohol, xylitol, balsamic vinegar, tomatoes….so of course I think, was I sensitive to yet another item?? I am SOOO sensitive to things anymore (coconut and avocado are out as of this last round) so it's just a bummer. Makes me ALSO wonder if my thryoid is tanked???? I'm now even more confused!!!!

Scottland, I didn't cut out alcohol. I never used xylitol or balsamic vinegar( which has a lot of sugar, unfortunately) And tomatoes only rarely. Avacados are high in fat...if eaten with any small amount of carb...will be trouble. Probably ok on a burger, but not on a salad. Tomatoes are high in sugar, but I was able to lose with one or 2 cherry ones on my lunch salads.

Well girls….LONG story short, I can't do it anymore. Doctor wants to do blood tests and doesn't want even any hhcg in me…uhhh!!!!! I may as well take advantage and get those special thyroid tests….I must do a search and ask for the right ones!!! Anyway, sorry

Kats - I WISH I could do avocado and coconut oil BUT after doing shots (for the first time) my body totally rejects them now….REALLY makes me wonder???? I was totally fine w/ them before so what gives?? I have NO idea??

Kats, I'm so sorry about your injury. I wish you could stay home but it's lovely that your work partners are helping you!

I'm seriously thinking of giving Siesta a whirl for this round starting Saturday. Scotland, if I decide to do it, can I buddy up with you?

Happy New a Year to both of you!

dont test your thyroid for about 6 weeks after stopping hcg, otherwise you will get falsely rosey results. Sorry you have to stop your round. :-(.
