I agree with JJ. Once I figured out what made me lose and I used mfp and excel to create a graph so I could see what my numbers were and what caused me to lose the most. It took a while and a lot of experimentation. Once I figured it out, best with carbs 12 and under and fats equal to or higher than protein, it's been pretty consistent, and I know when I overindulge, next day is super low carbs and super high fats and it's gone with usually more lost. It worked with hcg and I've been continuing to maintain with much higher carbs and lose with lower. Not sure where the cell food comes in, but with all the minerals it sure can't hurt.

As far as ketosis goes, peeing is a way of life, but I also think it has a lot to do with the amount of water I/we drink...as I pour myself another glass... When I did the leptin reset I had bad breath and my daughter said I smelled funny. With high fat, don't have either. As we become better and better fat burners, I'm certain we will be able to include more carbs as veggies and berries, some fruits and smell good. Over the past few days, I ate a whole pineapple and stayed stable. Luckily, it's gone and I'm over it and now really focusing on low carb again to start releasing again. That's the beauty of this way of eating for me, if I want to indulge I can and when I want to lose I can do that too.

Here's where I am so far today 880 3 69 51 Going out with a client tonight for happy hour, but will keep it as clean as possible and hope for a big loss tomorrow!

And JJ, yes, I still want to lose another 10 lbs or so, depending on how I feel and look. So I"m right there with ya.

Hi Robin .... you're too funny with the pineapple, but I know how that is. Crave something, then later I'm over it.

Love how the support and communication is so valuable here. Your ratios is exactly what I'm figuring out with me. I've been so concerned with fats being so much more than my protein but have actually been losing better when they're closer together.

We'll lose Last's "last 10" together. Since she already did, it's our turn ...... right??

Are you still struggling with being tired?

Thank you Brick. I have learned so much through this group and the Lovelies group, "share the wealth" right?

Good health (with a touch of vanity), is exactly what I'm striving for.

Brick – Somehow I missed that you threw your back out – I hope you feel better! Don’t you have the bad knees too? I have taken Johnny’s wise advice and I look up everything now before it goes in my mouth. Seems to work well except I didn’t realize how many carbs are in onions. Crazy!

Johnny – Even with all the cellulite conversations I bit the bullet today and bought some cheese sticks to have on hand. If I see one darn dimple though they are in the trash!

Robin – I like the idea of charting my losses. I only began Sunday but was consistent with my foods until yesterday and lost every day (except today). Back on track today so hoping for another loss tomorrow. I’ve lurked on some of your menus – thank you for sharing!

I went to the grocery store and it was quite obvious I’m on a low carb diet as I came out with bacon, cheese sticks, sugar free jello (if the author can indulge why can’t I?) carb balance tortillas (may be a slippery slope if I try them) and HWC!! I plan to keep my carbs to veges but if I make a breakfast taco and it slips into a tortilla so be it!

Amber you're so cute! I doubt cheese sticks will cause you many "dimples". I'm curious about the Tortillas . I think I bought some many moons ago. What kind are they? Lynne has had something like that. I think it is a carb smart bread and did very well with it.

Carbs in onions ....... blew my mind too! And I love onions. I use them but sparingly. I was actually thinking on my drive home from work about carbs and veggies. (I know .... seriously???) LOL

I never understood when had raw vegetables and a LOW FAT (eeeek) dip, I would get bloated and gain weight. Used to drive me crazy.

Now I know it was tons of carbs and a sensitivity that made me gain and not actual fat lbs. So fascinating.

I am so comfortable now knowing that I will be able to have all the foods I love, but will need to be "mindful" of the ones I know I'll need to have in moderation. I won't hesitate to have a piece of bday cake or raw veggies and dip, chips & salsa etc ...... We don't have to avoid them anymore. Just be "mindful" of them and know that clean eating the next day will get you right back on track.

    Higher carb, a little bit.

If I remember correctly I subtract fiber from carb and get actual carb.... 13g? Looking to feel more positive about the avocado slip

You are correct 13 net carbs avocado didn't hurt you at all. You have got this down to a fine art.

Sorry about your back. Hope it's better after some heat and relaxation.

Stats for today 1040 calories 6 carbs 80 fat 66 protein We'll see what TES thinks of that.

    Have a good night everyone.

Hi everyone! Been creeping through this thread for the last couple hours, and finally had to skip through because 249 pages is a lot to read. I just started a second round and I am curious about this particular plan. I see Johnny has had great success! And so many others also. Johnny, you may have this posted somewhere but I didn't come across it. When did you start and end your round? I read in the beginning you dropped 8 lbs in the first 4 days. Did you follow SB from the start? From what I read you aren't on hcg now, so have you just continued the same type of eating? I always felt better on a keto type of plan, but I had a hard time staying on track. I feel like if it works with hcg for me, it will be a good solid amount of time for me to get back into a routine. I appreciate the info!

Hi everyone- I do know about the lower dose re: hunger, but if I recall, it's lower the dose for daytime hunger, raise for night hunger. Someone way back on Grammy's thread did switch to nighttime. I don't recall why but no way I can find that on Grammy's loooonnnnggggg thread! ;-) . Just checking to see what has worked for others. I rarely get hungry during the day, but nights are hell. I will share what I did do after I decide what to do.
    :-D
