Morning all! Had a wonderful birthday, better when the three oldest boys got home from their work. Hubby finally worked on stuff for grad party, 5 days to go and really hoping TOM comes and goes before Saturday... For I have an off white skirt.

Book: we didn't really do anything special but that was OK. I made my own version of banana cream pie. It was higher carb for the banana alone but if I can't enjoy a little higher carb on my b day then something is wrong with my approach to life...life should be celebrated!

Good luck Robin! I am anxious to see how a change up does for you. I have a theory about the body needing those change ups or shocks to normal routine.

Gray for now here. Hoping for some rain.

Thanks for the b day wishes. I checked in at the June forum last night but forgot here.

    Have a good day!

Brick, tell me about that banana cream pie!

Lisab, I sent you a PM.

Brick, I totally agree. You have to celebrate in ways that make you happy! BCP sounds like happiness on a spoon to me!

Robin-how funny, going rouge means going POP here. Good luck.

I am up again. But, Randi came to mind. I feel thin , and I tried on a bunch of jeans and they all fit. I'm not exactly sure what is going on, but I'm just going to stick with it a few more days on the plan and see if the scale starts moving down again. If still nothing happens, I might try a fat day once, like JJ, or I might try a super high protein day-just double my meats or eggs. Or, maybe a woosh is coming. I thank gallons of water yesterday and hardly had to go to the bathroom. I thought it was weird and now today I wonder I'm holding a bunch of that water. I changed my ticker. I decided I wanted the thrill of changing it back down, and I know it will go down. Day 16!

good morning everyone, well its Day 1 and having a hard time getting started, since yesterday was such a full busy day of moving furniture & shopping with the kids, then came home a cleaned the mattress set we got for free for our guest bedroom, so today no exercise for me, I'll be running up and down the stairs cleaning the carpets, should be a good enough work out. I will chime in later tonite when I have more time to catch up with everyone post for today.
I do have a quick question, Does everyone still weight in every morning, just like we did on protocol? if not how often does everyone weigh in?

    Vlcd 1 164.8
    Vlcd 2 164.0 (-0.8)
    Vlcd 3 164.2 (+0.2)
    Vlcd 4 164.0 (-0.2)
    Vlcd 5 163.6 (-0.4)

Janeen: my version of banana cream pie...I didn't want a crust...but if you wanted you could crush some nuts with melted butter and form it in the pan and freeze that first.

But that is not what I did....

I sliced two bananas ( I made a lasagna size pan for us all) and laid them out in the pan.

in a large bowl I pour half a pint of HWC and soft whipped it. then I folded in 3 banana flavored yoplait yogurts. Then I poured the whole mixed in the pan on top of the bananas. Then I sliced another two bananas ontop of the mixture spreading out.

then I froze it over night. I should have taken it out of the freezer earlier and put in the fridge in the morning...but didn't until the afternoon.

After dinner I whipped a pint of HWC, a bit of honey and yes...just a smooch of southern comfort, to stiff peaks. Then I poured that over the soften banana mixture. Then just for fun I sprinkled cocoa powder on top.

It was really good. NOT exactly like BCP as it was still kind of frozen in parts. Perhaps tonight it will be softer. I intended to not have another piece, but I might take a spoon and see if the consistency is more like the BCP.

    that is it.

Good morning - brick that pie sounds yummy! (And I'm not a sweet eater.)
Down 1 lb this morning. What you most of you use to track this? I tried myfitnesspal, but am on an iPad. Seems like it can't get it to work for net carbs. Also, when I got some meats, made sure there were no carb, but when I put it in mfp, it added carbs. And do you hit the carb number daily? And what ratio do you use? % for carbs, etc? Wasn't very hungry yesterday, so must be a good thing.
Hope all have a great day!
