Hi everyone! Quick pop in to say hello!

The only quest bar I don't care for, so far is the lemon. I've been having one each day with a cup of coffee for an afternoon snack.

I'm doing good ............ scales slowly going down by .4 then maybe .6. But down is always good.

You guys are all doing so good. Even if it's not big losses or round didn't give you the number you wanted, you're still in the right frame of mind. You know what to do and how to do it, whatever you decide. I find you all a great inspiration.

I'm not able to get on here as much as I'd like lately, but, like Last said, I'm reading every word!

    Happy Friday Everyone!
I like the upbeat tone I'm reading today! Feels good.

This AM I was the same weight, but I hardly ate at all yeaterdady. I thought I'd try to cut way back and see how it went. I had about 3 oz chicken, cheese and guacamole (my homemade style fajitas) for lunch, then only 2 eggs and about 1/4 cup farm fresh yogurt for dinner No nuts, no gin. The scale didn't budge! But, I'm on day 2 of TOM and I do feel bloated. Who knows? So, today I'm going to eat quite a bit more and see if I should be doing the opposite. I am having a giant scoop of chicken salad, and a giant scoop of tuna salad for lunch, I'll eat a quest bar, then have a nice dinner, maybe a big juicy burger with side veggies. Today is my last day, day 28.

I will be back with final results, stats, and plans tomorrow!

Well, Deeks does not have strep but does have a cold. He has a high pain tolerance so when he complains, he is sick.

I think i might be battling a little something as the toilet closet has been visited frequently today. Combine that with the last few days of exhaustion.
I don't feel horrible just not great.

Deeks I'd down stairs sleeping. I gave him some benadryl to dry him up. He is the type that vomits the drainage.... Such fun.

    HCG & Siesta Beach

Brick, my son Alex is the same way!! If he says he doesn't feel well, you can take it to the bank. Many times he quietly walks to the bathroom, and you can hear him throwing up, then he walks back to his bed and lays down. No complaints. The other ones? OMG! You'd think they were dying!!! Gotta love the strong silent type.

Hi friends. It's been such a strange day. And a hard one. Everything I thought I was preparing for the last week got canceled. Too long of a story and honestly I don't want to think about it anymore. But I'm ok. I guess that's the most important part. To make it through a tough week or day! Hung out with some friends tonight. Got some hugs. And Lola is curled up beside me. I'll tell you about it tmrw just glad you're all here

AFM, same weight today. Which is good. I've been higher calories than Myb I should be for POP. Did some retail therapy tonight.

    I'll check back in tmrw.

    Love y'all. Gnight

Hi All - Just checking in quickly...Seems like everyone is riding the wave. I'm out of town for my aunt's 80th b-day family get together. Back on hcg on Monday after two weeks off. I've stayed stable and am looking for ward to shaking things up with hcg and food cycling to lose the final 15. xoxo

    Hi everyone ~

Shine so sorry you had a tough week. We'll be here when you want to talk. Glad you were able to enjoy with some friends.

Robin ~ have fun and great on staying stable. 15 to lose ....... that's me, too.

Last ~ how are you and new guy? How'd the 1 1/2 hour go before dinner? I can't imagine you not being the light in the room for that. Our guy is good. Actually he's been annoying me .............. maybe I'll send him to CA for awhile??? LOL You know, he is "our guy" you can have the annoying part for awhile. LOLOLOL

Bookie ~ how'd you do with increasing your foods yesterday?

I'm down -2 today! Was really happy when I saw that! I've separated when MFP for a few days. It was starting to stress me. You know I get that way from time to time. I'm just eating clean and low carb and so far so good. I did find a recipe for baked zucchini chips that looked great, so I did use MFP to check carbs on zucchini and it's really low, so going to try some today.

    Hi everyone else ......

Morning all! Off hcg for the weekend away. Wine last night was divine! Keeping it simple if I can today. Starting off with eggs and bacon. Ouch is at my uncles so who knows what my choices will be. Hopefully protein, cheese, and fruit.

Pb, good luck on your trip! Glad your enjoyed some wine!

Johnny, super loss!!! I make baked zucchini chips! I love them! And yellow squash! Yes I love how low carb squash is! Are you in drops? And thanks about my week. It was pretty nuts. Mostly just disappointing and felt like a roller coaster.

AFM, I'm down 2.2 today! I must say I was surprised. I almost didn't weigh because I was like, if I'm up I don't want to know. Just goes to show ya! So I guess what I'm doing is working. I'm not being super strict POP but relatively. I hope it sticks

Well the short version of my week is that I got into a new band. Very good one. Very cool people lol. I definitely wanted them all to like me. Cool but also nice. But anyway it was nuts. I spent half the week memorizing 8 new songs for a prestigious gig that's happening today without me. Its ok that I'm not doing it. It was so fast but they shouldn't have asked me. And I spent all day yesterday waiting thinking I was going up north for the night to rehearse and didn't get a call til about 7 pm. There are some good reasons. Sick kids and car breaking down but it was just really hard and disappointing. I turned my world upside down and put this at the top of thine list priority wise. Felt pretty stressed. I should've known it was out of balance when I started to get sick. Anyway. I didn't get sick and they wanted me to do the show there just wasn't time to get me rehearsed and ready. It was a very high paying gig too which would have been very nice.

So... I took myself shopping, got a very cute sale dress at free people, a pair of yoga pants and I still had credit at Williams Sonoma so I got a spiralizer and an ice cream maker. I can't wait to make low carb coconut ice cream! And zucchini pasta. I have a hand held spiralizer but I want the real deal. It might also have a blade for cutting I can't remember what those are called. It's too early well it's not that early anymore. It's 7 but I couldn't sleep so I've been up for hours. The good part of that is that it's not hot out yet so Lola and I went to play with the frisbee. She is so cute!! I love my dog!

Ok I'll be back. Not sure what the day has in store.

    afternoon all,

I have not read yet, will go back after lunch and sit and read. Lots of rain here in Ohio, from hurricane bill. Which is fine as far as I am concerned. A gray day ( and likely the whole weekend) is nice. Deeks is feeling much better today. Still stuffy, but it seems his fever is gone now. He is distracted for he bought himself some kind of graphic card and it arrived today...so I likely won't see him for a long time.

Dropped off some home made Lebanese yogurt for my dad for his father's day gift. A couple of weeks back he was commenting how he missed Great Aunt Bessie's and Mary's Laban...so i filed that way to make it for him for father's day. My dad is the kind that if he wants something he can afford to buy it himself...so my gifts have to be homemade, for I can't afford to get him anything expensive. LOL! Whether or not he likes that I have no idea. He isn't very communicative with me. But my job is done.

AFM: I am feeling much much better than the last 4 or so days. so I am sure I had a virus. Happy to be feeling much better.

Hope all are doing well....Shining I saw you posted some frustration about a new band..sorry to hear this. Timing is everything...

will check in later when I have a chance.

    (((hugs))) to you all!

Shining-sorry things went south. Was that a one time chance with them or will you have the opportunity to play with them again? I was not sure if you actually joined the band, or were a guest and then didn't end up getting to play with them after all.

Brick-you are making me want that yogurt!!! Yum! I still have not even thought about what I'm going to do for my dad or hubby. Oops.

AFM-No HCG today. I finished the whole 28 days. I lost weight only the first two weeks, so I didn't get to goal, which is 135. I am solidly 140 at 5'7 tall. I feel like I'm slender, but not thin and I enjoy thin. Unfortunately, if I take the two weeks off then start back for the last 5 lbs, I will be on vacation for that whole first week of starting back up. I don't think that would give me the best chance to get the last 5 off. I don't like that I have to wait 3 weeks because I dread gaining 5 which puts me at losing the same weight again. But, I have maintained on the first week of P3 on vacation in the past, so I can do it again. I just have to stick with low carb and no sugar and I'll be fine. I hope.

My thoughts after finishing 28 days of SB is that it was easy and it went by fast. If I'd had a crystal ball, I'd have stopped at 2 weeks, taken a two week break, then started back up. When I do my next round, I will only do 2 weeks, then go into maintenance and see how it works for me.
