That's interesting PB! That's what I was suggesting before I read this. Cycling more than 1 day. I'm going to look it up.
    Congrats on the .8. Excellent!

Chewfo.com has a breakdown of FMD and what to eat for 28 days. I read it and will read again. I think it's looks complex for me. I know that if I really do low carb fearlessly the weight should budge without I tricot food plans. I've just been lazy and letting my "food wanter" get in the way of Siesta 30-40 carb maintenance.
Several here have proven that it works.
Hey Bookie, how are you doing?

Fmd was definitely complex. Eventually I developed three different menus I ate based on what type of day it was. I foun it interesting though because my best losses would be on high carb days and I would gain on the high fat days.

PB, that's great info to have about yourself. I think I'm doing a little better maintaining (even though I'm over LDW) with lower fat and a bit more carbs. But siesta maintenance is 30-40 net carbs, which is a lot of carbs when fiber is subtracted. I'm trying to get my head around actually counting and staying in those boundaries.
    Oh my, give me strength.
I just looked at my tummy in the shower after a bowl of cherries for breakfast. Totally bloated so as much as it pains me, I'm going to push them away.
Off to the wine country for the afternoon and dinner.

Oh Last- those cherries. I had a few yesterday, so delicious, but somehow managed to stop after a few of them.

Brick - Looks like its going to be gorgeous.

Sandi - good to hear you're well.

    JJ - Hellloooo

Woke up stable, but have definitely been eating more than 500 cal the past few days so can't complain.

My sister did really well on FMD, I did ok. The first week is brilliant and then the losses didn't really continue. It's a lot of cooking and eating. I ate wild rice, quinoa, sometimes buckwheat. ad then the veggies with fats on the weekends.

Hi to everyone, enjoy the weekend!

I just looked back at when I actually started this round and it's been just under 5 weeks. Down almost 10 lbs(hopefully by tomorrow). That includes two weekend pauses off hcg and a Fourth of July free for all. So considering I'm eating 700-900 calories a day and drinking wine most nights, I'd say I'm very happy with those results. Hopefully the next mo th will go even better.

Down another .8 today. I'm amazed because I had too much wine and 1000 calories yesterday. I was sure I would have no loss today. Finally hit 10 lbs lost so I'm happy now time to focus on the next 10.

    HCG & Siesta Beach

PB, I read somewhere that you started at 235 way back when. You should be so proud of yourself. I think that for those of us who formerly weighed in as morbidly obese, the food compulsion may be more severe than for those shedding less. You've done a phenomenal job. Be proud!

Robin, thanks for the FMD input. I think I lose the first week on most things, then not after. Maybe a pound the second week. I have to keep myself from getting so far out of range that I can't get back.
I weighed in at WW this morning. Not happy at all. Highest weight this year. Feels discouraging, but I'm a fighter so I see it as a challenge. My morning home weight was up 1.2 from yesterday. Fancy dinner, ice cream lunch, no water. I made poor choices and it shows.
For this week I have veggies, carnitas, carne asada, limes, avocados. If I eat big salads and stay away from fruit, grains and sugar I should see a drop this week. I have a work lunch Wednesday and Thursday and a dinner out Friday. I'll have to really make good choices this week. That my plan. Hope to drop 3 pounds this week, then continue down the following weeks.
    Hi Beachers!
We are off to the Stanford Museum for the day. I love the Rodin Garden and they have a Chinese and a Japanese art collection running through tomorrow as well as a poo art collection from SF MoMa that's being renovated. I'll make carnitas salads for lunch at home as I'm certain dinner will be out tonight.

Last 1.2 gain is t too bad for a cheat day. I'm sure it will come right back off. It sounds like you have a good plan.
I have actually cut all fruit out for now and I wonder if it really does help. I have higher calories but still losing. My carbs are aroun 18 each day.
I took the 235 off my ticker a while ago because I've accepted that is no longer me, it's been five years so I know I'm not going back up there ever again.
I do feel great I lost so much. But it is frustrating I'm up 30lbs from my lowest. But that has been over a few years. But I think I'm mostly happy once I hit 170 or below so I haven't really worried too much about the gains until I really feel fat and frumpy. Even now at 175 I'm starting to feel much better. But I know it will be best to get back below 165 and then try to get off hcg. I do seem to gain gradually whenever I'm off. One of these days I'll figure it out. My menu now is so much more livable. I really could just stay on for a while with my few splurge days here and there for special events.

PB - You're doing great and Last is right, what you both have already accomplished is amazing. What worked best for me in terms of maintenance was the Leptin reset. It was when I started getting cocky that I regained the 20 lbs of what I had lost. I loved waking up and eating a massive high protein breakfast (like a ribeye, or 5-6 eggs and or fewer eggs and bacon/sausage or fish), and then having a big salad and maybe more protein later in the afternoon and that was usually pretty much it. I didn't eat after 5 unless I was going out and then I skipped th afternoon meal. The best part for me was, I was full the whole day to the point where I didn't even think about food and I didn't have to stop and deal with such either. And when I ate, I could polish off these huge meals. I ate like that for a couple of years. I remember having so much energy and I want to get back to that as soon as I release the rest of these pesky lbs.

Thought i had been on this round for 4 weeks, but it's actually only been a day less than 3. Still going to take some time off and depending on how things go, not start again when I get back. Getting so excited. Going to Chicago for Tony Robbin's Unleash the Power Within and can't wait to unleash it. My daughter is coming with me. Going to see family, friends and the event!!!!*****

    Happy Sunday everyone.

    Happy Sunday to all

Wow Robin ~ I remember you telling us some time ago about how you used to eat. That is my kind of plan, you'll get back there. Have fun on your trip!!!

Thanks PB ~ I have checked out FMD and it's a little to much cooking and planning for me. Congrats on the loss!! You are doing great!

Last ~ after reading your posts, I totally agree with you. 2 day cycling would be more productive. BTW: push the cherries away sister/wife!

Here are the 2 bread recipes I did get time to make today. The buns have 4 net carbs each and the bread has 2 per/slice. I only made 1/2 recipe of the bread. The pan was a little too big so it's not at high as it would have been if I'd of used a smaller pan. I love both! The last picture is bacon wrapped chicken breast. I pounded them a little then put herbed mayo and pepper jack cheese on and rolled. Then wrapped bacon strips around them and baked. pretty darn good!!!
