I AM NEW, I want to know about protein shakes, can I use them?? I wanted to make a spinach strawberry shake with some protein powder. And I want to take some supplements. fish oil, B12 vitamin D liquid calcium? Any ideas if I can and lose. I am on day 2 of loading, starting tomorrow, I want/need some breakfast ideas.

Protein shakes aren't strict protocol but many use them and lose fine. Most of us have used them successfully and a whole bunch of vegetarians have used shakes to do successful rounds on HCG. As far as your supplements they are all fine to take with HCG, even the oils, they won't effect your losses. You can keep all your normal supplements. Even by protocol the tiny bit in your supplements wouldn't hurt anything.
You can divide your food up any way you'd like, most eat one of their fruits in the morning if they want to stick to protocol and not add anything extra in, others add in an extra serving of protein for breakfast. It just depends on how close to the original protocol you plan to stay.
I've tried just about every variation other there but I do suggest everyone tries strict protocol for at least the first couple of weeks just to see what it's like and how their body responds. You may find you have such good losses you don't want to add any extras in. Or you may find you hate how strict it is and you need to modify it a bit to make it livable for you (that is where we the rogue people come in).
Hi! I am starting my first round with pellets. Today VLCD 1 and I am starving. I thought I loaded pretty good but still hungry. I have been lurking on this thread for awhile as I am definitely rouge. No two people are the same and what works for one won't work for another. I too love my red wine and have read if you are going to drink red wine is the best choice.
Hunger the first couple of days of VLC is pretty normal but you shouldn't be starving. Are you doing the real HCG pellets like from nuimage? I know they are a high dose, too high for most people. Or are you doing HHCG (homeopathic) hcg pellets? If you absolutely need to have an extra serving of protein to get you through the first couple of days.
I'll check back in, in the morning to see what type you are on. If you are on the real ones chances are you need to get a pill cutter and reduce your dose that way.
Thanks for your response. I am on the homeopathic pellets from Body Platinum. Tomorrow I will add more protein if it is the same tomorrow.
First check your bottle does it state HCG 3x, 6x, 12x or something like that on the ingredients label? Need to make sure they actually have HCG in them. Some of the HHCG has actually gone to hormone free stuff that they claim is hcg but isn't so check your label and make sure. If it states something similar to what I said then you should be ok. Sounds like you need a dose adjustment. Not sure which way you need to go yet and you really should have 4 days in before you start adjusting, especially in the beginning since hunger at first is normal.

AFM TOM is definitely here and he's not happy. Oh man the bloating and cramps are so bad this go round. Geez feel like a teenager. Really once you are done making babies there should be an off switch for this thing LOL As a result of TOM and my UD I am up 2.4 this morning. Holey smokes that was big # to see on the scale but not a bit surprise once I noticed my rib meat was a bit too much like steak and got stuck going through last night. I noticed when I took my shower and the soap went over my side ouch it hurt. I was like duh, it never even entered my mind that it might be too tough of meat and be hard to digest. So guess I'll deal with a partial blockage for a bit. That explains why I felt so full at dinner last night still. I'll file that under oops![]()
those are the ones I have used. Eventually I found 4-3-3 dose worked best for me. I always add extra protein the first few days. I'm not one for the starving feeling.
AFM I am down 1lb today. still at 184.4. But I wasn't very good last night at the end of my DD, turned into an UD. oops. Oh well I am still starting this week lower than last week so fingers crossed to get below 182 this week...yeah right...

Maybe 1 cheeseburger from McD but I'm SO SO afraid this will start a downfall for me.... And I'm showing large Keto on the strips. I hate to mess that up now!! But Poo like you said I know that low carb is not good for too long.
