    Scully, I replace my first meal with a protein shake and a hard boiled egg. I have vodka and soda water about once per week. The protein shake is part of a digestive health plan for some issues I have prescribed by my dietician approved by allergist and GI Dr. It's going very well for me. My health is much better!

    sounds like you have a good plan with minimal cheats...
    Mine have gottten bigger and bigger while I was on. Trying my hardest to stay away right now.

    Kim clothes fitting is way more important of a measure than that darn scale! Congrats on the loss!

    I'm skipping exercise today. Although I will have to do more walking calmly in place tonight to reach my 9000 goals challenge for school. Very difficult to do this challenge when I can't breathe. I'm actually going to pick up a breather that was also prescribed tonight. I thought I could just use the one I have but it's not working so I thought I would try this new one. hopefully some grocery store errands will get me the steps I need.

    So will a five day prescription of prednisone effect my weight? Just wondering if I should ignore the scale the next few days. Tomorrow is my last dose.

    PB it will only effect your weight if it effects your appetite. DH and DS take it and it doesn't bother them at all. I take it and I starve like I haven't eaten in months, you should already be starving though if it was going to hit you. If you've made it this far without any major issues, you should be fine. I start getting hungrier and hungrier and it just keeps going on for weeks or months depending on the dose.

    I made it through day 2 of Zumba, amazing how much easier it was since I ate lunch today Still got really shaky about 30 minutes afterwards, that was weird but was able to make it until dinner, didn't need any emergency chocolate to rescue me today. I may need to plan a snack right after working out. We did a different Dvd today it was a higher intensity but I modified some moves for the knee. Oh man this one kicked our butts, it was hard but fun, we survived but pretty sure we'll be feeling this one tomorrow, don't think we'll get off as lucky as we did today.

    Didn't stick to protocol at all today, I'll see how that does tomorrow, may bite me in the butt, we'll see. Calories were still under 500 though so maybe not.

    That's good to know Poobear. Thankfully the zpack have me stomach ache so I have had very little appetite. I actually had my Chinese leftover in the fridge tonight. It took 3 meals you eat it all. I've never had leftover Chinese that long before! I think I did manage about 1300 calories today though. Low for an UD but I wanted it lower since weight is up.

    I'm glad you liked the zumba again. I always have a cheese stick before I exercise after school now. Just the right pick me up

    I never got a tummy ache from my steroids, I get icky and just sick feeling all over but still hungry LOL Are you starting to feel better? How is Dh feeling?

    Dh said he felt better tonight... Then again he said that last night and came home worse. I never believe him. Lol but he did seem better.
    I gift a new breather after work and seems to help a bit so fingers crossed...

    Hopefully you will both be feeling better tomorrow.

    Right now I feel like I've been run over by a zoomba truck lol. Hurt just climbing in bed and as pathetic as it is to admit, holding the phone is making my arm cramp, that's just sad.

    I did a quick weight check and I was up a pound from this morning.lately I've been staying about the same all day then I drop a little at night. So may not drop tomorrow, may even see a bump up if I don't go down much tonight.

    Not worried about it, everything is swollen right now so it wouldn't surprise me.remind me again how exercise is good for me?

    Just a quick check in for me. Still so tired! Got a busy week at work starting tomorrow so I am getting to bed soon. I never nap and actually took one yesterday, as in laid in bed an slept not just snoozing on the couch. Maybe the baby hit a growth spurt or something!

    I am back from vacation and am positive I am back to where I started. Oh well, I have enough left over to get started and do about 17 doses then I will possibly order more.
    San Diego was beautiful and I had a great time with my mom. She has slowed down considerably and is so swollen that I want her to go to the doctor tomorrow because my cousin who we were with is a PA and said she has pitted edema and she suspects congestive heart failure as well. She could not walk very far so eating and hanging out was what she could do along with tour bus type things.
    So back to P2 tomorrow to lose the same 10 I lost a few weeks ago and then hopefully 10 more.
    I will go back and read what's been going on!!

    Poo-sorry about your knee. When you have very little cartilage, it's not recommended to pound on the joint, right? I know walking is boring, but you should try a low impact exercise instead.     I'm down .8 this morning. Of course, I was up .4 yesterday, so it's only a .4 loss. However, I'm really happy with how a lot my clothes are fitting! Mainly, it's my dresses. They are mostly a loose fit, but with getting up to 160, they weren't loose or cute anymore. Now, at 16 lbs down, they work. They will still fit with another 10 down. My boyfriend shorts, which are supposed to be loose are fitted, but I could wear them if I needed too and they'd look like regular shorts. When I loose the next 10, they will be boyfriend style again. Before this round, I couldn't button them.

    PB I don't think 5 days will affect your weight! Maybe a little water weight? It does make you retain water...

    Aww Charlie - I'm so glad to hear you had a great time with your mom - must have been so hard to leave. Not even going to comment on your weight - you got this. This trip was far more important!!

    AFM? UGG I could seriously cry. Is it still TOM (which is due today??) I'm up .3 I'm really really frustrated. I should be down 10 pounds by now??? I literally could NOT push my rings on my finger right now so it better be TOM related or I'm seriously thinking of bailing and doing something else. I will give it to Saturday or Sunday to see the scale moving down. I mean I was probably losing more with LCHF.

    Yay everyone! i am still at my lowmweight! Just addinga little something every day, had some real salad dressing yesterday and some wine!
