I Had to share this rogue secret! So, I love peanut butter. I sincerely think that my body prefers non animal forms of protein and I am on my second round of injections. First round 47 days - 29 lbs. I followed protocol to the t! This second round has been harder from the get go. We took 12 days off and went back on w/o loading. I think they call it cycling. Anyway, I have a toddler who loves peanut butter for his afternoon snack and is been almost impossible to resist so I tried something new. Chocolate /peanut butter shake!
1 tbsp of cocoa =10 cal
2 tbsp of PB2 (peanut butter powder) =45 cal
2ozs of low fat cottage cheese =50 cal
1/2 cup of fat free milk =45 cal
SSplash of vanilla
Sweetener of choice to taste
Throw it all in the blender with about 2cups of ice and it turns into liquid GOLD! Since this is 150 calories, i used it to Replace my protein and fruit. I figured the sugar from the milk would replace the apple and the protein from the peanut butter dust would replace the meat. I still had a veggie for dinner and this shake for dessert. Here's the best part, the first day I lost a full pound. The second day I lost 2.8 lbs! I have read through this site on and off for 2 years (baby weight) and this is the first time in sharing because just maybe this will help someone who's about to dive head first in a jar of peanut butter! Also, if you haven't tried pb2 before, I highly recommend it! They press the oil out of peanuts for a low fat delicious peanut dust!
