    Nutshell, I only overloaded on my veggies the first few VLCDs and I lost 7+ pounds during that time. I hear when you are first starting out you can "get away" with more, and now I have a pretty moderate portion so I'm not sure my losses would've kept up.

    knaegle, in the Rogue Saloon I think it is fine to eat your fruits within 6 hours of each other. I think in the P&I manuscript is says you should not eat them at the same time so waiting six hours probably came from that.

    Wow, mcognibene, who would have thought?!?!? How big was your steak? Did you eat any of your other P2 foods on that "steak day" or just the almonds, steak, and ceasar salad? Oh, and the cake bite and milk. LOL I'm very curious! Also, had you had a gain the day before? If so, how much? Thanks for being honest about your experiment.

    Well i injected IM in my deltoid this morning with a 1/2" needle. According to a doctor in Seattle who lost 39 pounds doing it herself and who has her patients doing it, it works. But i confess i'm skeptical after reading online. I only found one other reference to 1/2". Everything sells go 1" or 1.5". I have an email into her to get more feedback. It hurt a tiny bit, more soreness than sting, and is actually still a little sore 1.5 hours later!

    I was pretty hungry yesterday. We shall see.

    so looking over my records I realized that this round I lost about the same as previous rounds in my 1st week, less then previous rounds in my second week and more then previous round in my 3rd and 4th week. We will see how well this last week does for me. I did nothing different the first two weeks but I've done protien powder in place of my meat for about 3 days a week the last 2 weeks and plan on doing that this week as well. I also did cocoa crack twice last week but I'm not sure if I'm going to do that this week or not. We will see.

    So any rogues that are replacing a protein with protein powder, what kind? As close to 0 carbs and 0 sugar and 0 fat as possible, right? I found one with 35 grams protein, 0.3 grams fat, 1 gram carbs per serving. Is this an acceptable protein alternative?

    preskinnyme - 12oz ribeye and yeah i pretty much just drank water the rest of the day. ate the almonds at 5pm, my steak and salad at 545pm and kept drinkin water. i was still hungry but didn't have way to get another steak before 8pm so i just dealt with it. i probably won't do a p2 steak day again just because i really need to stay on task here.

    i did cheat sat night went out on a date with my hubby (who is skinny as all hell and doesn't have to watch what he eats unless it is alive and moving lol j/k) and did not gain or lose the next day. i ate breaded calamari with a no no dipping sauce and a crispy honey shrimp with brown rice.

    random thoughts: when i 'cheat' with more whole foods - that damage doesn't seem to be so harsh so i am a firm believer that this diet is more of a detox and get you away from processed and over processed foods and drink. i have def found awesome replacements for most of the 'crap' i would eat before

    also, kinda thinkin about not doing the hcg protocol if i don't stabilize this time. . . . . . it is kinda expensive, i don't like steak THAT much lol and i just don't really care about my weight anymore, for right now anyways. good think my weight isn't making me sick with any thing either too. plus my son needs some positive exercise going on so maybe he and i can do something together to get rid of our twin bellies lol. . . . . kinda tired of having to put so much effort into food. . . . .sounds kinda dumb with how easy this diet is. . . . . may cycle after next weekend and do p3 for 10 days as someone else posted in a different post.

    I'm just amazed that you didn't gain anything, but lost so much instead! I'm also surprised that you were able to actually eat 12 oz. of steak at all, and that you were still hungry. lol So you had this steak day to just see if you would lose like on P3 or because you gained? All in all, a pretty spectacular result! I'm jealous! LOL

    I see a lot of truth in your statement about whole foods and how our bodies react to them. I am much more happy eating that that processed crap.

    As to your thoughts on doing another round, only you know for sure what it best for you. As you are well aware, having your head in the game is SO important, so if you really don't want to do a round I think it would be counterproductive, not to mention miserable, to do it. I think you would be better off waiting to do another round if/when you decide to do so. We would sure miss you here though!

    i really did it cuz i read somewhere that emmaglow had done one and was just curious. especially after my cheat and following stall. i was very hungry but truth is i would have eaten two bags of salad with the dressing just as well lol

    whether i continue on this round or not i have become pretty hooked on this forum so i would def still hang around. lol besides i still need to see how 'cycling' goes. too bad Dr. s isn't around anymore, he could pay us to be is research people, us rogue folks lol

    Wow, a 12 oz steak on P2 and a loss, lol. That sounds record-setting, lol.

    Yeah, if you're not into it maybe it's time for a break. It's a lot of work. It takes up a lot of my mental energy. I'm really praying i can get my dose and method and menu nailed this time so i can free up my mind for other things.

    LuckyT, I use the Jay Rob shakes but the one you mentioned sounds like it would be fine. Plenty of protein and very few carbs. Plus sugar free. Good luck.

    I used JR in the past but tried Body Fortress this round with great success. Plus, I got it from Wal-mart for $14. Fitatlast told me about them. I mix with coffee and I am a very happy woman. I don't miss Starbucks at all. LOL

    Well today, I did skip my shake and I made a tuna spinach salad. I wanted to shake things up a bit. I didn't want my body to get use to the shake like it did with the pickles.

    I used UltraLean by Biogenesis. I love it. Tastes like Dairy Queen and has blood sugar stuff and stuff to fill you up. But two scoops max and no fruit or sugar on days i use it. Today i had some apple and a little mochi, so i will not have my eve shake.
