Hey ! What is your feeling on WHEN to transition into P3? I am now on day 24, was planning on doing 40 days but at 38 days I am going to Reno to visit my Mom for the weekend. Because of the hectic schedule we will have it may be hard to stay on protocol over the weekend. Do you think I should transition before the trip? Like three days prior stop the HCG and then when I leave I can move into P3 for 3 weeks? I really like the sound of the P3 diet....so much more to chose from and I cant wait.
I pretty much eat like that anyways...except for the drinks of course ...LOL
But, I am thinking this is what I will do just to move onto something new for a while then hit P 2 again Mid November if Im brave enough. May be best to wait until after the holidays????

Do I have to do P4, or can I go back into P2? Any thoughts on this?
Tanja...hang in there, TOM sucks but it will all work itself out!
G Dizz...If there were hills in Texas (Houston) I would be hiking too good for you!!!! Sounds like SO much fun! The great outdoors. Im from California so I really miss the weather and the moutains the most
Deb....I really miss my Ezekiel toast Sounds like you had some yummy food yesterday .

Deb, If I lived closer to you, I'd so be about horse back riding! I've been wanting to do it for years! Congrats on being down this AM and stabilizing. Just keep it slow and hopefully the stabilizing will be great this time!

    Fit, Congrats on the loss!

Tanj, I'm with you this AM. I am up .4 this morning. Not going to rack myself on what it coulda been. That .4 was worth it for the hike and added foods. But I will stick closer to protocol as a rouger can. Hopefully that .4 and then some will come off tomorrow.

    Johnny, where ya at?

Hi Everyone I enjoy reading about what works and what doesn't. I was up .6 today but I am on TOM and I went a little crazy with the almonds and sugar free choc chips yesterday. I have still lost 15lbs in a week though so I think that is good. My husband has lost 20lbs his first week! Stinker, he eats way more protein, some reduced sugar ketchup and a little ranch dressing.
Today I have had a chicken salad with celery and apple and some light mayo, we will see how the mayo does. I have such a sweet tooth too and especially on TOM I want to eat fruit and sugar all day!
What a struggle I swear, this is like the 4th round * I did some cycles and it was so much easier the very first time, I was so committed and did 23 days no cheats at all and lost 31lbs.

    Hi Natalie

Your loss is much better than mine! You go girl!!! So I take it this is not your first rodeo?
Isnt it sickening how men just melt away with little to no effort while we struggle and deliberate over every stinkin bite we stick in our mouths?
Sounds like both of you are doing really well though!
TOM is a struugle for me too, last time I made some chocolate dip for my strawberries and froze them for a few minutes. They were not as good as REAL chocolate Strawberries of course but the sure hit the spot!

    Keep up the good work

Shanna thanks, yea this isn't my first time at all. I am struggling to stick to protocol this time , not because I am hungry though just wanting more!!

The first round... yep, it's like the first love, pure magic. I have to psyche myself up to go into P2, a part of me mentally resists it, but the other part knows the outcome is less fat.

I'm in P4 and seems like I'm singing the same ole song to you guys. I gain a few on the weekends then lose it by the next weekend. Yada Yada Yada..... doing great though and really liking this whole routine.

Sounds like you're doing great and ALOT of hiking ...... good for you!

    Hey all!

Did my apple/cheese correction day yesterday and got .8 off. So now I am sitting at 1.4 lbs above my modified (lowered) LIW.
Been reading up a lot on the leptin reset and am giving it a "go" today to see where it takes me. I stabilized like a ROCK last p3 and this p3 isn't the case. I now know why.

Upon looking at my food journaling last round I limited dairy, ate 3 times a day and rarely ever snacked. I had NO PROBLEMS stabilizing. This time, I hit dairy w/ a vengeance and found myself freakin' snacking when not even hungry. So yeah...had some upticks and got it corrected before I hit 2.2 lbs over my official LIW.

So today I started a tweaked up leptin plan. I did have a protein breakfast and did incorporate some dairy (1 oz of cheese and cream in my coffee) and that's it. Lunch was 2 chicken thighs and cauliflower w/ a little butter. Dinner will be protein and veggies and coco oil.

    No snacking what-so-ever.

I am releasing a TON of water today. In the bathroom like crazy. Maybe it's the aftermath of the apple/cheese day? I was in the bathroom more then normal yesterday as well.

TOM is still looming so I know that is playing a roll in the gains/cravings.
