    G'day Rougers.

Congrats on making your goal even with the NYE whoopsies. Yea, soda water is good. No sugars in that. I love to use Trader Joes sparkling lime water, but sometimes I use plain old Pellegrino (sp?) or my new soda stream fizzy water. I'm lazy and just buy the lime juice in the little green bottles.

I rouged it up a bit yesterday on day one w/o drops. Had my typical piece of Ezekiel bread w/CO, fage w/raspberries and a tbsp of xylitol, and since I was hungry, I ate one half of a small potato (left overs from the family not on the diet), and I think a tiny piece of some homemade Alaskan smoked salmon, and a bell pepper slice dipped in hummus. Dinner I made up a 7oz chicken and served it over a little bit of lettuce with bell peppers--that I cooked in maybe a tsp of refined CO. Ate maybe 5oz of the chicken before I was stuffed. Cashews and a few NYE dranks in the evening. lol. Woke up to a .6 drop this AM, but I am sure that will be short lived, since I seem to drop a little during the 2 days w/o drops, but pop back up to LDW when I start P3.

Today has been a bit rouge as well. Bread w/CO, and then had a hankering for some cottage cheese, so had half a container of cottage cheese with a cucumber and 2 small cheese tray platter size pieces of pepper jack. Not sure what dinner will be. Probably chicken and some veggie. Going to keep dinner light on salt, since I didn't realize until I got home with the cottage cheese that a serving of it had 420mg of salt, and I ate two servings!

So excited for P3 tomorrow. Haven't made my mind up totally on what my first meal will be. It will be eggs, bacon, Ezekiel bread, avocado, but not sure if I will eat it all on a plate or go crazy wit' it and make a gourmet egg sandwich. Oh the possibilities. lol. Oh yea, and cream in the coffee. I am going to make out a menu for the entire week, because I have been bookmarking so many recipes over the past 2 months! Its time to get creative! Tomorrow for dinner, I think I'll make red or green curry with cauliflower rice and chicken. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

GDizz --- yum! I hope you're enjoying your new found 'freedom'. You've been working very hard and deserve a nice break.
What did you end up having?? My mouth was watering at the homemade smoked Alaskan salmon then i Realized living in the Pacific Northwest that's a bit easier to do than being in the DC area like me!

I've been being my traditional mini rogue self, had some fage last night with mixed berries and a chicken sausage patty today from Trader Joes. I'm really glad I'm using the calorie tracker app this time around... It is working well for me. I did have a loss this morning but I'm remembering that sometime in week 2 your body typically starts stalling... Nooooooo, I don't want that! not that anybody does, and last round when I wasn't losing weight I was still definitely losing inches (or part of inches from my body) during that time, it just makes me want to go get a sugar free non fat latte at Starbucks and whine. That was probably my once a week guilty pleasure last round.

It's been a bit quiet, how is everyone else doing?

You look freakin' great, girl! Congrats on all the hard work! Are you done with doing rounds? Looks like you're maintaining well? Good to see you pop up! Miss all the oldies.

I am doing ok with P3. Rouge in the sense that I eat the Ezekiel bread. Rough day yesterday so had a 22oz of beer that I was holding for a special day. I actually lost like 3lbs this AM, but its because I didn't really eat or drink yesterday since I was dealing with some medical issues with my dog and was just too distraught to eat. I am certain I'll bounce back up a few lbs towards LDW, since I did manage to consume a little bit of food today. Please send your thoughts, prayers, good vibes my pup's way. She ended up having a stroke and her back legs are paralyzed. They are giving her some drugs in the hopes she can regain some mobility in her hind legs. Its been a very emotionally taxing 2 days. Hoping for some much needed sleep tonight, as I couldn't sleep at all last night.

    Sorry for the downer moment.

Prior to yesterday, I bumped up 1lb to something like .2 or .4 above LDW (I dropped about a lb during the two days w/o drops). So not bad. Looking forward to all the amazing things I can eat in P3! I went CRAZY at the store and bought all kinds of delish stuff-- a majority of it felt like cheese alone. lol.

Illyria, I ended up having 4 pieces of bacon, a piece of ezekiel bread w/about a tbsp of CO on it, half an avocado, and two eggs that I cooked up in the bacon fat. Lunch was light and just juiced some veggies and whatnot and a few pieces of cheese. That nights dinner I made a red curry sauce over cauliflower 'rice.' MmmmMmmmm!

G-Dizzle: First, THANK YOU!!! I've worked hard, and I am done with my rounds. I would like to lose another 10 pounds, but I will try and do that on my own with exercise. I have been maintaining great!! I feel great!!!

Next, I am so sorry to hear about your puppy. We had to put down our black lab last year due to him attacking our neighbor's puppy and almost killing it. JJ (black lab) has attacked our rat terrior several times before that. I know how hard it is, b/c they are like our own children. Sending prayers your way. Take care...

Awh, thank you! The amount of support I've received from all angles has been really comforting, as this is probably one of the hardest things I have had to deal with. I went to visit her today, and the vet tech in the ER was super awesome. She sat with me for a while and chatted about stuff, giving me some hope/encouragement when I was really feeling hopeless. I said piss on all things HCG this evening, as a Hooters was close to the vet hospital, so called a good friend of mine and asked if she wanted to meet me at Hooters after she got off work. She met me at the vet hospital and we sat with my pup for a while. My friend was petting her ear in a way that my pup was loooooving it and totally passed on the extra pillow the vet tech brought her. She was happy in her happy place. Stayed with her a bit longer, then mosey'd our way over to class it up at Hooters. The boneless chicken wings, 3 tall beers, and a shared plate of fries were much needed and freaking worth it no matter what (well, except for the fact that Hooters ROBS you on beer prices. wtf?!?!).

I ate a little more food yesterday, so was closer to LDW this AM. Will prob be at or a little over it tomorrow morning, as I did go eat at Hooters this evening. Oh well, thats the best part about P3/P4, you can go out and eat something, stay away from stuff like that for a few days, and everything is back to normal.

Hope everyones rouge ways are proving successful! And again, thanks for the words of encouragement. Much appreciated!

G-So sorry about your pup! We found out a couple of weeks ago that our cat has breast cancer. She had a mastectomy ( I know) geez, but is doing fine right now. It's just soooo hard to deal with!!

I am on P4 and will be loading this weekend or next. Just need to see if my mindset is ready. I have to lose 10 more pounds. My b-day is the 20th so I'm tempted to wait.
    Have a great day!

Oh my goodness GDizz! That's a really hard thing. I've been sending good vibes your way. Any update on your little one? It's wonderful that the staff at the vet has been awesome, in situations like this, its almost impossible to ask for more.

WannaBe - Glad you're cat's doing well after surgery!

On the dieting front... I tried something super rogue and had interesting results (.2 loss) but I slowed to that type of loss around this time on the last round so who knows -- I took some chicken and dusted it in almond flour [the p3 and p4 only friend] then sauteed it in MCT oil. I don't think I'll be doing it again while I'm on p2 and I have no idea what possessed me to do it -- other than the fact I found the almond flour in my pantry for my last p3/p4 round and I forgot about it and I was super curious what it tasted like. Sometimes, I can be so impatient. They were very tasty -- but I'm sure they slowed my losses to a creepy crawlyness even if it wasn't happening already.

Which brings me to my morning of regret. I had a really *bad* couple of days at work and I just wanted to relax and hang out with friends. I went to dinner, I had a plan (I actually do okay if I know where I'm going and plan, even on p2), and I was going to have miso soup and thai beef salad. Yes, roguey, but probably would have hit about 500 cal so 700 for the day isn't too bad. HOWEVER, I totally blew it. I ended up ordering General Tso's Chicken like I haven't been working my butt off trying to get rid of weight. Paying the piper. I'm up 1.5 lbs today. I've never actually done this so I know, eat clean, be good, etc.

I'm wondering how long it will take to get back on track after knowingly just blowing the entire diet in one dish. On the upside? This morning I've totally forgotten about my crappy week at work and I'm focused on, well, hecks bells, how am I going to get my diet back on track.

Gdizz- I am praying for your baby. I have five chihuahuas and four cats and they are my JOY in life.

Wannabethin- I am glad your cat is doing well. I'd wait till after my birthday unless you wanted to load on that day?

Illyria-have no regrets. I think sometimes a break is needed and the weight will come back off again fast.

This is only my second time on this thread. I am on my second round and I messed up yesterday but am back on track today. Want to lose about 14 pounds this round.
    Thanks for letting me share'

Thank you for the kind words. Things are not progressing at all, so it looks like unless a miracle happens, I will be planning to put her down on Wednesday. Really hard to do when she is herself other than the loss of her caboose! It has been a roller coaster of a ride over the past week and its taking a toll on me for sure.

I am in P3 now but its been a very rouge one with this past weeks drama. The last thing on my mind has been eating, so there has been a day or two where I don't eat or drink enough water, and then there are days where I say %$## it all and go out to eat and eat hotwings or whatever the hell I want. At the moment I am like .6 above LDW, so not worried about it. Although, the only things I ate today was 1 curry humbow down at pike place this afternoon and then boneless hotwings and beer (becoming a ritual with a friend who has been going to see my pup with me) last this evening.

Illyria, it will probably take 3 days or so to get close to your lowest LDW. I agree, don't beat yourself up too much, but just live and learn. Next time you think about going balls to the wall, just weigh whether its worth the 3-4day set back.

Wanna, sorry to her about your cat. Glad she is doing well though!

One, welcome and glad to hear you are back on track!
