I still eat their everything bagels and bread every day. I have had real bread on occasion without trouble but Carb Krunchers is safe for me. If you miss bread that's definitely the one to try. Many places sell it online. I would not have made it through the diet without it.

I have never heard of this, I will have to google it and see if it's carried here in Vegas...we have whole foods, sprouts, trader joes, etc....but I know sometimes things are regional. Can you let me know where you get them? Thanks!!

Hey I just wanted to post a yummy recipe I found on pinterest....super easy......

    Whipped coconut cream

Take one can of coconut milk (full fat), put in fridge overnight. Take can out, flip over and open- the liquid will be at the top (pour this out to use for something else), then the solid coconut will be at the bottom of the can.

Scoop solid into bowl, add vanilla, cinnamon, whip together (by hand or beaters), and whipped cream that is dairy free, vegan, and sugar free!!!

Yummmm...I think I will try in P3 on some fruit

I am okay not doing another round, and am fine with stabilizing, and then just exercising and eating properly. Can you tell me what "desicatted thyroid meds" are? I have never heard of this? I like anything natural........if I have issues again, I would like to be able to ask about this with the doctor. I really appreciate the response!! Thank you for any information......
I'm still losing hair and my last dose of hcg was May 16 but I started losing hair in March. It was really bad. If I run my fingers through my hair it falls out. All day I feel falling hair trickling down my arms. When I wash it I get lots of hair stuck to my hands. I ordered every hair treatment, supplement and shampoo imaginable and it didn't stop. It was grammy who told me to have my thyroid checked. The dr only did the tsh test. That doesn't tell much. I actually paid to have my own tests run. I am low in all thyroid hormones. I've only been on the meds for 2 wks. I'm still adjusting but my hair is a little better. I have to give it time. Natural Thyroid is the best because it gives you T3 and T4. Conventional meds like synthroid are all T4 and most people with hypothyroid have a problem converting T4 to T3. You may have to get your own testing done to get the right answers. Most dr's don't want to use natural thyroid either. The pharmaceutical companies dictate what dr's prescribe.
Check out the website "stopthethyroidmadness.com". Click on the boxes at the bottom of the page. You'll learn a whole lot about natural thyroid there. They also list dr's by state that treat with natural thyroid. Years ago that's all anyone ever used until the big pharmaceutical companies got involved. Those companies will do more damage then good.
As for the Carb Kruncher's I don't know if it's sold in stores. I order mine from "lindasdietdelights.com" but they're located in NJ which is close to me. I know there are a few online places in CA. It would be fresher if you get it from somewhere closer. There are all kinds of low carb, sf goodies to try. I eat Russel Stover's sf candies. They're really good. I also had sf tastykakes. They're a bit higher then the candy in carbs. Just do the candy and cakes slow like a bite here and there till you get used to them. The bread is only 2.5 carbs per slice. Don't try the zero carb ones. They taste horrible. Carb Kruncher's really is good. It's sort of like real multigrain but softer.

    Hi Hardee,
I wondered what kind of thyroid meds you take. I know you said natural. Do you get that from the drug store, health food store or DR. ? My daughter has hypothyroidism. The girl that cuts her hair told us to have her thyroid checked. She lost a ton of hair. I couldn't believe how much she lost everytime she took a shower. Whole handfuls. Anyway synthroid is what she's on and her hair loss is better but her weight gain never went back to normal. She gained about 35 or 40 lbs during the time before she got tested and she still can't get it to come back off. We have had her thyroid rechecked and she went to a specialist who only increased her synthroid another 1/2 tab twice a week. I would love to get her thyroid straightened back around. She's 19 and she used to be able to do weight watchers and lose weight fairly easy. Now it doesn't matter how she tries it just doesn't want to come off. She did a round of hcg when I started and lost 40 lbs. but put it back on due to not following P3. She is a vegetarian so its even harder for her to find things to eat. Eggs are about the only protien she can do besides protein shakes. She doesn't eat a variety of things. She doesn't want to do hcg again.

Hardee- thank you for the information, I hope that medicine will help to stop the hair loss, that is so discouraging I appreciate all of the information, that is so helpful. I hope that I don't have an issue again, but you never know. And I hope it gets better for you

Ladibug, do you mind me asking about your daughter and P3? You said she didn't follow it.....I'm starting P3 on Friday, and would love some general advice on what worked, or was it carbs and sugar for her? Or was she eating the P3 allowed foods and still gained it back? I hope I'm not being too nosy, I appreciate any advice on P3- there is a scare factor there. I always ate healthy before HCG (healthy fats, organic, fruits/veg low fat meats, etc...and just couldn't lose the weight because of the thyroid issue), I just want to make sure I don't eat too much or not enough !!!

    Hi ladibug,
Dr's that prescribe natural thyroid are few and far. Most dr's give only synthroid as you see with your daughter. That only treats T4 but not T3. By the way my T4 was low but my T3 was much lower. The US brands of natural thyroid are Armour and Westhroid. I ordered my own tests and then my own meds. I use Thyroid-s. It's from New Zealand. It is the same as the US brands but very affordable. It took about 11 days to arrive. I know of another brand from Canada call EFRA. It's also the same. Check out the "stopthethyroidmadness.com" page. There is tons of good info on there. They tell you where to get testing on your own and also have a list of drs by state that prescribe natural thyroid.I ordered the book too for reference. I used a lab right in my neighborhood for testing. I also joined the yahoo natural thyroid group. They help you decipher your tests and help you figure out how to treat. The criteria on tests required for "regular drs" to treat thyroid varies greatly. Most dr's will say you test normal even if you are at the far end of the range and have hypothyroid symptoms. I posted my results on the yahoo group and they helped me.

Correction: ladibug Thyroid-s is from Thailand not New Zealand. I guess my head is still a little foggy.LOL

    Hey roguettes!

Just a quick question what kind of losses have you seen while altering the protocol. Also interested in knowing the round # and lengths. I'm being rogue lately and trying to decide if I am going to continue with it or go back pop. Losses are my concern, how much will I slow them?

    Thanks ladies

I was much more rogue on r2 then r1. I did r1 for 43 days and r2 only 31 days. I lost exactly 17.5 at the 31 day mark on both rounds. I only lost 4.5 during the extra 12 days on r1. I still want to lose more and will be rogue again next time.

Once she moved from p2 to P3 she just went back to eating the way she always does. Mostly carbs. She quit eating meat when she was about 5 or 6 when my nephew told her where meat came from. She eats things like pasta, mozzarella sticks, mac n cheese, she doesn't do alot of fruits or veg. Just too many carbs and chips, etc. I blame myself because when she was growing up I didn't push healthy, because she didn't like alot of it and I just wanted her to eat so I made her what she would eat. Now I wish she cared more.
