I picked up 4 packs of turkey bacon tonite and it was very expensive, and now I'm thinking I could probably get twice as much real bacon from the whole foods butcher, for the same or lower price. I like to cook it with cabbage to get the smokey flavor, or to cut it in thirds, fry it, and top it with something to make little canapes.
Everything you are planning sounds like OK for FMD except for the yogurt and wine, so it may be good that you ran out of yogurt. I know, it's rogue. lol
I made hummus once, just tahini, garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon juice, salt, I think that was all.
I'm having a little trouble keeping up with where you are as well, so good to know Kansas is having the same problem
