    Hi All,
    I'm back...was on vacation, then had staph infection on face which consumed my time itching it.

    Couldn't read too far back, but...

    Mary-Way to go...not bad for a cheat! So, maybe FMD worked for ya?

    PBg...Enjoy that glass for me! And let me know what DH thought of movie.

    I am 6+lbs over LDW this morning...not normal, TOM came, plus cheated big time yesterday with popcorn and candy. I am in hell. I cheat, I gain, I correct. Yes, I too have to eat PERFECT to maintain. But it just doesn't seem normal to cheat a little, and go up by 2lbs. I am soooo frustrated. I did adjust my LDW up 1lb, so as not to incur so much CD's. So..... today is my first day FMD.

    Lynne, last time (3 day attempt at FMD) I had Strawberry French toast and I only had 1 piece of GF bread. Today, I made 2, and was stuffed! I did also have my coffee with MCT oil, which is a cheat, but I am going to see what I can substitute...I am thinking almond milk in P3, but need something for 1&2....I am not giving that up. The diet Coke was enough!!! So far, today ok. I am going to look at P2, sorta like a protein day, which I can do. I am doing this out of total desperation of hang onto my loses from last round! I hope this works.

    BTW...made the FMD Nacho Dip (P3) and it was tasty!!!! My attempt at nachos, turned into a taco salad with really no cheating. Even forewent the wine, as it makes me gain. Will have to try the martini!

    Welcome back mom! Infection on face sounds horrible! Sorry you are up so much. Have you done fmd before? I do think that it is normal to gain 2 lbs from a cheat. I think when we eat crap our body reacts and we have inflammation and water retention. It's not necessarily fat. I think we just never realized these gains before we started weighing every day. But luckily we can usually drop 1-2 lbs as well by eating clean.

    I have found I really like to mix 1T stevia, .5T cocoa, and some walden farm caramel in my coffee. I will never need creamer again!

    Hubby and kids really liked the movie.

    If you are extra hungry on P1 days, maybe heat up some sweet potato to go with your breakfast, or to go with your snack. I sprinkle on a little xylitol and it is tasty. She wants you to eat plenty of veggies anyway, so you can always add an extra veggie to round out your meal. Maybe add an egg white to your P1 breakfast. Haley does that for french toast, and that little bit of protein may do the trick.

    2 pieces of the bread makes sense to me as more of a swap for the cup of oatmeal. Glad it was more satisfying. Instead of MCT oil, I use a little rice milk and cocooa in my coffee for P1. P2 I use almond milk. . .just a little, and in P3 I use coconut oil. I always whir my coffee with a stick blender to mix and froth it. I hope you can stay away from the diet coke. It is addictive. I gave it up when my kids were small, and now they pretty much stay away from it as well. Good luck.

    Morning all! I'm up .6 today because as usual I can't handle it when I know it's my last day of eating so 3 glasses of wine, some BBQ sweet potato chips( which have sugar so I won't be buying them again!), and a few dove dark chocolates. Oh well back at it today. I am up 5 lbs for my break but I I k I should lose it in a few days and then start heading below where I left off. Fingers crossed!

    Pb hope it comes off fast for ya!

    I'm up 1lb today but I fully expected it if not more. My husband and I shared some fried green beans at lunch and then we got Chinese for dinner. I made the best choice I could, and chose moo goo gai pan which has a clear sauce, but I know there's corn starch and lots of sodium. So I am eating normal P3 today and drinking lots of water to see what happens and will follow with a steak day. I'm actually quite happy with just 1lb!

    I decided to jump back into p2 today. That gives me my two hungry days at home. Hubby pissd me off though this morning because he was supposed to bring home asperagus, lettuce, celery...you know all the veggies to be fillers and help with hunger. He walks in and says sorry I forgot the groceries! I am not a happy camper

    if you go out and get those things at the reg grocery store at least ya wont be eating, the day goes faster
    get some epsom salt for a detox bath while you are there.
    Oh i live on iceberg now that you got me to do the waldens, btw, cant thank you enuff

    when we had vd dinner: i had some tofu and I dipped it in the bbq. I cant tell its diet , it tastes totally good to me
    I'm bringing dressing to the movies with us in case we end up at dinner ag ain, last wk, I ate lettuce with pepper on it cuz i forgot my dressings.

    very wise of you to do the hungry days while at home, forgot you all are off.
    here, they are off monday and tuesday.
    so go get your stuff and be happy

    I never seem to get to goal and yes, I do cheat every 2 wks w/ bf coming home
    I had wine today
    but I cut all my food so.. dunno

    I'm guessing I have about 5 lbs to go or so, I know everyone cringes but I worked just as hard as everyone else, and have the same food issues so..

    Anyways, we saw Monuments men, how freaking boring and a waste of time and spze.
    I wanted to like it
    It SHOULD have been a good move but it was not.
    If I cold listen to it for 2 hours, mind you, and fold laundry or something maybe.. okay but sittin in a cold cold theatr listening to them drone on and on and on about nothing for 2 hours, really? OMG
    not good

    We actually gave up eating chinese yrs ago since they all systematically lie about what goes into the food. so.
    Thai is much better.

    I am on VLCD 24 I believe....down 25 pounds so far....I have done okay sticking to most of protocol. Thursday I had half a red velvet cupcake with homemade cream cheese frosting and 2 glasses of wine..and had a .5 gain but it came back off. I am hoping to drop another 10-15 before end of this round. I love Vietnamese food..really craving bahn mi and spring rolls more than Chinese food but..it will have to wait. Only 18 more days and then P3...*sigh*
