    Way to got on the restraint. I would sell my first born for a brownie about now. I love the glazed tenderloins. They are skinny enough that I will actually take them frozen and drop in a pot of boiling water to cook. Like magic chicken in about 5 minutes.

    Mom if you only have 5 more lbs to lose, the question is how do you feel? Are you mostly happy with yourself the way you are? If it's the number you are worried about but you feel mostly good about how you feel, then I would recommend sticking with fmd. Even if you just stabilize for a while, it is probably better for your body to heal it. Then maybe gradually the last five will come off.

    I feel fine, but I don't like these extra 5. I felt happier lighter. But I see your point. My perspective is that the Hcg did NOT heal my metabolism. After reading FMD book, she claims the dieting yo yo effects your body. I feel like this is true. I have been a clean eater for the last 6 years, working out regularly. I would slightly indulge, and gain, and not be able to get it off. I am talking a glass of wine, would cause me to gain 2lbs, and not get it off. Doctor recommended hcg. I feel best on the hcg! I would ultimately like to heal it. Yes, I am hoping when that happens, the melting effect will occur. But I am FREAKING out....you can see I started second round at 136. I am 135. I have been here for two weeks now. I don't want my body to get used to it.
    Seriously, I don't know how my body can eat this clean and not shed!

    Have you ever tried it just to drop 5lbs?....I am going to Cabo end of March, I really wanted to be able to have fun, but now will totally have to stay the course! How fricking boring! (Can I use that word here?)

    Tomorrow- back on course! Removing myself from my body, to climb higher, and look down the road!

    Mom your sig says you lost 2 lbs your first week of fmd. I would say it is working for you! Just give it time. 5 lbs is nothing, yOu will get there!

    Mom, I think you are doing well, it's just the mental thing. Just take the weight loss out of it and give FMD a good try. No stress: it causes weight gain.

    AFM: VLCD 5 I am down 2 lbs (yay), 6.5 lbs total for the 4 days. Hoping to be down to my ticker weight (last LDW weight) by Sunday.

    I'm up .2 this morning sitting at 174.4, still wondering if I should fight this weight or not. Haven't tried anything special since the Monday steak day to get further down, guess I will wait and see for a bit.

    Good morning all,
    Down 1.2lbs this morning so it looks like I survived the cookie incident Cravings were through the roof so I may or may not have drank lots of diet pop....but I did get all my water in! Today I am hoping that I am not so focused on the foods I can't have and just enjoying the process of learning to leave without constantly eating or thinking about eating. I won't lie though...39 more days feel like an eternity! LOL
    Week 1: -8lbs
    Week 2: +4.7lbs

    Morning all! Up 2.6 from some peanut butter balls, cheese and crackers, and wine last night. Oh well. I'm going to enjoy eating today and then deal with it later. Wine did not like me this tiem though, I on,y had 2 glasses and it gave me a horrible headache today. Hubby is off so we are out taking care of business today! Eye exams, haircuts, groceries, car liscence, picking out paint colors....busy day! I tried a new recipe for breakfast today, oatmeal pancakes. It was just oatmeal, egg, cinnamon, and vanilla mixed and cooked on the stove in a pancake form. It was quite good! I added blueberries to my second one.

    Pb sorry i was gonna say imagine the co workers coughed all over the PB balls, ha dont know what they are but if they got PB and choc in them, oh man!
    You are welcome, you guys are the only thing i like about the Sams! Bf's family has the biz card with them.
    I had wine too. very cautiously, not alot and man it really hit me but I was sleep deprived so. No ill effects today and I'm down .4
    I stuck to my p2 diet except a little soy cheese in my salad so good for me.
    mom yes I think p2 fmd is the kindest. your total losses are good. keep telling yourself its not hcg. and what Lynne said.
    Tips from hayle, do share re: the last 5 lbs, 5 lbs is a lot, when you g et there you'll notice. pick up a 5 lb of flour and you'll see. you can do it
    lynne you are our biggest loser, good for you. feels good, right?

    It was actually funny because the first time I went in the lounge I was totally going for the pb balls but my coworker who is also on hcg was in there so I felt guilty getting them in front of her so I didn't.lol note she had already caved as well. But being there for four hours...They just kept calling to me! They were good though.

    My poor youngest....we hoped it could be avoided but he was doomed....the time has come for glasses.

    I know, that one candy at the chocolatierre we shared in VD was absolute heaven, esp with the wine

    Aw, glasses. He'll get used to it sooner though and then when older can get contacts

    PB, thank you for the encouraging words! I think that not so bad of a gain! Maybe a couple days to come off? Bummer on the glasses. My kids doomed too. 1 in contacts so far.

    Kansas, wow, you lost even with wine, right on!

    My8, IMO it sounds like your dose might be off? I had a lot of cravings the first half of my last round too, on pellets. Half way through, I forgot a day, and I noticed from that point on, they subsided and I was able to finish without cheating. Just a thought....might check in with Grammie...

    Julz, I am taking encouragement from you!

    AFM, didn't bother weighing today...didn't want to start the day with a bummer. Going to get back in the saddle and week 3 starts tomorrow. Will track week lose/gain then. Happy Friday!

    My8 let me know if you need help with dose adjustments, I saw cravings and left it alone since cravings is not nagging hunger so...
    I have some cravings tools its NOP of course but here they are
    Cravings real strong ones like you have tom and you are gonna eat that candy bar:
    1. salt and heat celerly soup( chop celery, s&p, onion, garlic, cayenne, water to cover, cook till soft, important till soft)
    2. Sweets NOP NOP . Hershesy REGULAR cocoa pwdr, salt, cinnamon, hot water or hot coffee and stevia
    For baaaad cravings do both. NOP disclaimer
    Mom okay are you doing hcg next week? sorry if i misunderstood, you said saddle h ah a or okay, just getting back to fmd week 3, got it.
