I'm surfacing after huge work deadlines and my this place is hopping!

I'm sorry for the frustrations some of you are experiencing. Have you ever wondered if it really DOES coincide with eclipses and full moons and stuff? Sometimes it seems like there are so many people in the same boat at the same time.

I made the decision to go back on hcg and loaded Tuesday and Wednesday thinking I'm going to cycle a bit and then finish it out when I get to goal. After reading what pb and poo are doing and looking back through my weeks in 3 rounds, I think I can stay mentally motivated and not wig my body out so much if I work with a week or 10 days on hcg and then P3 when I'm off for a week or so. It really seemed to work when I did the PI for Thanksgiving.

This is the first time ever that I haven't gained weight loading. I had tons of fat but didn't do any starches because so many of them are just making me feel bad these days.
I'm not super starving on my VLCD today, and I'm also continuing my workouts just figuring that for a week it'll be fine. And I'm (gasp!) mixing veggies. Aside from Dr. Simeons the person who's done the most work with this protocol seems to be the Weight Loss Apocalypse gal and their protocol apparently allows the mixing. Plus multiple of you guys do it without issues. I'll monitor to watch for gains, but I've gotten so in the veggie habit that I think this is workable.

I was 7 pounds above my last LIW to start. When I looked at it, I gained not quite 2 through P3 and then gained about 5 of it with my three instances of big inflammation reactions. For whatever reason I can do fine with normal ups and downs, but if my body reacts big I don't seem to lose the weight. It's frustrating to me that the only way I seem to be able to manage to go down is with HCG, but I think the sensitivity that some of you guys are describing after being on hcg may really go on longer for me than I was thinking.

There are so many mysteries as to why bodies react the way they do! But I'm convinced I can figure mine out just because I refuse to think that there isn't an answer.
    One day at a time
3 Rounds HCG, 28 days FMD

    FMD Net +0.4
    Experiment month 1: +2.1 - Inflammation in week 4
Experiment month 2: +2.2 - Inflammation two weeks, finally under control last 2
Experiment month 3: Week 1, -1.8 (exercise program FMD P2 and P3 eating - skipping P1 because of gaining and not feeling great on it.)

    The Rogue HCG Saloon

    Hi y'all.
Busy morning, I've been trying to post more but whew! Trying to get a truck on the road in Mexico and realizing that it's a holiday there Duh! Lol! So all the more reason to meet my sister for a glass of vino this eve!

Ok, I decided. (For now atleast ) today is LIW. I dosed this morning. I will be P3 Sunday. And see if I want to cycle back early next week (PI) for my last few shots or not. My LIW is 120.4 lbs. my goal was 118 and i was hoping to get there since I did my first round, but that's ok. My original goal last round was 120 anyway. And I didn't drop to 118 until after I ended injections.

I feel full from lunch and didn't have anything this morning except coffee(with 2tbs unsweetened chocolate almond milk and stevia) I also had a good early workout. Pup stayed asleep til late!! Helps that I can take her when I have a late rehearsal. So she's still been mostly camped out today and it's almost 1! I think that's all about to end tho

Grateful to feel better physically. Which helps everything. And glad to end P2 on a more positive note.

Good luck Kansas! Love that you're too country for some folks! gotta shake some people up!

Julz enjoy your night off and yes special occasion IPA sounds yum. Myb P4 or after

Mellawson, Ive been fine with wine (not too sweet) and vodka soda this P2. I lose after but then stall a couple days for body to catch up. Stay hydrated is the key. 1glass wine, 1 glass water a lil fun helps!

    Good afternoon ladies!

I'm more or less caught up, but ouch too much to comment on post by post!
Shining, congrats on breaking below 120, and so sorry about your accident... I do have to admit that it gave me a chuckle, not because it happened to you, that's just horrible, but because it's something I would do, and have done, sort of, years ago - my car broke down in the middle of the street, and a cop pulled up and gave me a quick tow to the parking lot right off the street... and as he stopped, I failed to, and car kept moving, and hit him. I didn't get in trouble, there was no damage to either car, but I was the laughing stock of the town for a while afterwards - at the time, I was doing judo and my instructor was the main sheriff, plus, I was working for diversion services, through the DA's office, and every cop, attorney and judge in town knew me. 'No good deed goes unpunished' story spread like a wild fire and I couldn't go anywhere without hearing about it (keep in mind that the DA's office and the court system and the police force are predominantly male fields, and there I was, this young girl, trying to work within the good ol' boys club... the incident didn't help my credibility one bit

Everyone else, sounds like you're hanging in there... some unfortunate injuries, some ups and downs, but still hanging in there, and that's all that matters

As for me... well, I weighted in this morning 2lbs BELLOW my LIW, at 118.5, with some inches to match it (teeny tiny off my upper thigh and a bit off the waist), but I don't expect it to hold. Heat and humidity make me retain water (I felt puffy while I was down south), but AC normally dehydrates me, and last night, we let the AC blast... plus, I didn't really eat yesterday, and I didn't really eat much while I was down there, tried to eat almonds, and a salad here and there, a few apples, a few eggs once or twice, and most of my calories came from fermented grape juice (which is also dehydrating). I didn't expect to stay as long as we did and I figured, 3-4 days without my protein shakes would be ok, but we stayed 10 days... lack of planning on my side, won't happen again
Interesting thing was that I was craving protein and fat, and not sweets or starches. Well, that's not 100% true, when I was hungry, I wanted something starchy (like bread, potatoes, beans, rice), but it's more of a 'there's a hole in my tummy, this would fill it up', not a real craving. But I could really tell that my body was asking for protein and fat, which is a first for me!
I expect my weight to go back in the 120 neighborhood, I held steady at 120.5 while we were in 'town' (before we went into the jungle), and while I was in the jungle, I gave up weighing - my scale was SO all over the place, 85 lbs in one spot, 123 in another, 135 in another, 121 in another, even if I only moved it half an inch, it would give me a different reading. I figure it's the heat and humidity, but also that it's an uneven floor, it's just poured concrete over the dirt, finest of CR-an construction
I weighted myself on my scale and bf's big ol' doctor's scale (which, btw, is 3lbs lighter than my scale, but he doesn't want to believe it, and claims my scale is off - it's not, I always take it to the doctor when I have any kind of check up, to compare)
118.5 on my scale, in between 115 and 116 on his scale, so my scale is back to normal

In other, exciting/scary, news today is my last day of P3! Time just flies! Tomorrow starts P4, and I have no idea how to do it or how I want to do it!
From what I understand, it's kind of the same as P3, as far as adding things goes, new thing every 3 days, and watch for gain, adjust accordingly. But I have no idea what I'd like to 'test' first. Pizza? Potatoes? Beans? Bread? I have no idea! It's kind of overwhelming, and I'm not really craving anything in particular, or maybe I'm craving all of it and it just cancels itself out (haha, like, when I feel overwhelmed, I just kind of shut down and go 'numb', maybe that's what's happening right now - I want it all, and can't decide what, so it feels like I don't want anything!)
My body does seem to enjoy the not mixing of starches and protein, so I'm thinking maybe some beans (like a black bean soup) would be a good way to start - healthy, veggie protein, but kind of starchy... or a banana in my smoothie. I'll update as I go.
And then, in about 2.5 weeks... it's back on hcg, for R2!
I can already tell that it's going to be a challenge, no greek yogurt, no Jay Robb's, organic veggies are hard to come by, but I'll do the best I can. Maybe there's an acceptable Whey Protein I can get at GNC here (and pay a pretty penny for it), or maybe I can have Jay Robb's shipped down here, maybe I can make my own greek yogurt, and I have 2.5 weeks to organize a reliable organic veggie connection ('reliable' being a key word here).

I hope everyone has a great day!

Turns out if you drink a few glasses of that the next day liquid will shot out of your but at such a volume Moses couldn't part it! OK ok I KNOW it's my fault and I messed up but today I weigh in at 181 so frustrating! Is this how it's always gonna be? Every time I eat or drink something not so great for me I have to spend a whole week battling back? I'm sorry I'm just grumpy today, I hope every one else is losing big or holding strong.
If you are going to cheat on hcg, it's best to cheat with a little extra meat or veggies, or even a stevia sweetened fruit sorbet (I make it with a stick blender at home with frozen blueberries or whatever). Cheating with fats is the worst, especially if it is just a little cheat, because it may set you back for three days. If you were cheating for a whole meal, or a few whole meals, I think that is worthwhile, because you still only set yourself back three days (plus the time of the cheats). Like if I eat two teaspoons of salad dressing, and everything else is on protocol, I might not lose for three days, so that is really not worth it. But when my family came for 2 weeks, and we cheated over thanksgiving week (about 5 meals), I thought that was worth it, and I got right back on the proram. JMO. NO FATS!

Welcome back Mary! I have come to think the big losses during are due to getting rid of the inflammation, so it makes sense that we have to work so hard to figure out how to NOT gain the inflammation back. Just a thought. It looks like my coconut oil was a HUGE inflammation culprit, so hopefully by avoiding regular wheat and coconut oil for the next week I can get back to LDW. Stabilizing is my real goal this round, so I am really digging in deep to my bag of tricks. lol.

    Good luck with your round!

That ice cream, alone would have put me up 6 lbs. I guess it's the sugar in it, for me. I can handle dairy with no problem, but that darned ice cream does me in!!
