    Best advice for new P3'ers??

    Hi, I'll be headed in to P3 soon. If you could give one piece of advice for P3 from your experience, what would it be?
    Phoebe~ a.k.a. Karen (Phoebe was a nickname I grew up with that my late dad used to always call me)

    Taking it one day at a time!

    Starting R1P2
    Starting weight 183.5
    R1 LDW 165.7 (25 days of vlcd)
    R2 Start weight 170
    R2 LIW 152.4
    Height 5'8" & 53 years young

    Thanks Leez! Do you think it is important to count calories in P3? Or keep track of calories, fat, carbs??

    No. The only reason to count calories in P3 is to make sure you are getting enough of them.

    You want to try to get to around 1500 as quickly as comfortable and and raise from there to wherever your maintenance amount will be. Don't be afraid of good fats. Follow your hunger and satisfaction signals. For most people this means eating 4-5 times a day.
