    Anyone eating non OP veggies?

Hi- I've just started a new round. This will be the 4th round I've done. In the past, I've always adhered pretty strictly to OP. This round I'm thinking about trying some non OP veggies, specifically, broccoli and zucchini. I'm interested in hearing from others who have tried or are eating other veggies and if you've noticed any difference in your results. TIA!

You can't really go by others experiences. You may or may not be able to eat off protocol vegetables. And there is no way to know if choosing to do so will affect your stabilization in P3.

Even on-protocol vegetables can be a problem for some. I can't eat celery in P2, for instance.

If you decide to experiment, it logical to only try one at a time until you know if it is affecting your losses or not. I'd wait 3 days before introducing the next one.

I ate broccoli last night and had a 2.4 drop this morning. I will wait another 2 days to see for sure that it doesn't effect me.

A couple of other things I'm thinking of trying are limes and xylitol (birch). I'd like to use some lime juice for a marinade/dressing. And I'm thinking xylitol might be considered OP by Dr Simeon's today. I mean, he approved artificial sweeteners, not stevia, but we consider stevia OP. Anyone else out there tried limes or xylitol (birch) in P2? Thoughts on this Leez?

You can continue with the broccoli today and tomorrow as part of your first test.

The sweeteners approved for the protocol were zero calorie sweeteners. Sugar alchohols have beens shown to cause stalls and digestive issues.

You can try the lime. Just consider it an experiment like the broccoli.
