I purchased L-Carn at Target, the brand is Origin in a blue bottle, 500mg/day. I also bought Target brand Up & Up of probiotic. I purchased my dig enzymes at my local organics store and they are called Digest Basic.

I drink almost a gallon of water a day and I make sure I have at least snack in between breakfast and lunch. I always have apple slices or natural sugar free applesauce. I don't eat late at night either. I don't eat processed foods very often. I have salads every day .2 x a day most days. I eat lost of Tilapia and steak, chicken, hamburger. If I have a hamburger I don't eat the bun but I do eat the fries. Not many but enough to satisfy me. I have eggs for breakfast almost every single day. 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites with yellow cheese. I love greek yogurt and I sweeten it with liquid Stevia and berries. I stay away from sugar ( again ,except for the chocolate lol ). I weigh myself every single day and I try to eat clean. I am getting ready to start a excercise program to strengthen my core . One last thing....I only eat until I am satisfied. Hope this helps
Dragginflyy - thanks! Such great tips. Looks like you are eating great - so simple. I actually must say, I've been taking the supplements now 3 days and have lost almost 4 lbs. on the scale! I don't know if it's the supplements or eating clean that's doing it - but tonight I tried out Quinoa pasta, so tomorrow will tell. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks for giving the store and brand names. I tried finding the stuff listed in dragginflyys post, but they're either not on the shelves at all, or out of them. I did get the acidophilus probiotic (Natures Bounty) and started taking it today. Only took one this morning. Still trying to figure out doses to take. The only L-Carn I've seen is the Acetyl, so I'll make a trip to Target for the Origin brand. Geez, so much to remember!!

Just follow the directions on the bottle for the probiotics. Mine states to take one in the morning and one at night with my 2 largest meals. The L Carnitine is only once a day in the morning on an empty stomach. I take the digestive enzymes at lunch. But read the directions on your bottles because different brands may state different directions.

I had bought acetyl carnitine and taking that. I guess from reading your post, there's a difference? If you don't mind me asking what digestive enzymes, probiotic do you use?

I just ordered lcarnitine. Wish i'd have known that before buying it and spending the money. Wonder if i can take both?

I take probiotic, lcarnitine, and enzyme in the day. Please confirm. I am the type that from smelling bread or eating sweets, I gain 3-4 instantly. Hope this works guys!

Dragginfly, thank you for the welcome. I love this thread. I am shopping for that Nature bounty probiotic this morning. I already had acetyl so i guess before dumping it in the garbage, tell me is there a drawback from taking acetyl and lcarnitine at the same time?
Super excited and glad to join you guys.. I feel like you guys understand me..
I hate this fluctuations in weight and so scared of eating outside of phase 3 foods!

TMI ALERT: Okay, if you've read this thread all the way through, I had a question about whether to continue the magnesium with the addition of the probiotic. I took ONE probiotic yesterday morning with breakfast, and continued with 1000 mg of magnesium (500 mg at breakfast and the same at dinner) as I have been taking for a few weeks. My body answered my own question for me this morning. So I will be cutting back on the magnesium. Going, um, potty, has not been "normal" for three or four days now, but adding the probiotic to my system caused (I think) a very near accident this morning.

@dragginflyy - after reading all the posts, I was thinking there was a 'magic formula' of how much of the supplements to take, not realizing you are following the doseages suggested on the bottles. I will do that as well.

One last note -- I am down .5 this a.m. to my lowest weight since starting HCG. Probiotic? Fluke? We'll see.

Yeah, silly me was just taking one of each first thing every morning. So this morning I read the directions on each bottle. I'm not taking them as directed and hopefully tomorrow will be a better day (well, I also did a FFF day today too, so the two combines will hopefully bring good results).

Hi, Dragginflyy - been reading here and got so confused at pharmacy, I bought two of the same darned thing! So now I have the Spring Valley Probiotic Multi-Enzyme Digestive Formula and L-Carnitine. I took them Tuesday and Wednesday, by Wed night my stomach was in knots, hurting.....I don't know if the probiotic had anything to do with it or not, but I did not take any today and am better. I've always had issues with digestion, so I thought this would really help, but now am wondering if I really need to get the acidophilus too. I am in R2P4D9 and have struggled through this entire round....something about R2......I see lots struggling with it. R1 was so easy for me, but this has been hard, and I really could have lost more weight, but feel pretty good where I'm at for now, but I seem to gain if I eat ANYTHING that is not P3. I extended my round to get those last few pounds and I thought the extra days would help stabilize me, but NOOOOOOO......just been hard, and I don't want to gain. I took my LCarnitine today but was afraid to do the digestive multi enzyme for fear my gut woulod kill me again!) I guess it didn't help that yesterday was a steak day for me because I tried to consume the entire Easter ham!! and gained too much. I have had to do a steak day about every 6 days this round, which I am tired of. I feel it would be different if I was sitting here eating Peeps and chocolate eggs every day, but I've been pretty good. Anyway, do you feel it is the combination of the three sups that has helped you.....or any reason you can think of why those enzymes would have caused me to hurt like I did?
    Thanks for your help.

No, that is not a two in one as probiotics do aid in digestion. The bottle will say digestive enzymes somewhere and should recommend you take one with every meal.
