    hcg left in mixing syringe

    Hi

I just mixed my first batch of HCG and want to check if I did so correctly.

I put 9mls of bac water into a sterile vial, then injected 1ml of bacs water into my vial of hcg. I then withdrew this at a 45 degree angle in order to get all the liquid out. However, there was a little bit of water left in the mixing syringe that I couldn't get out and I'm concerned that the potency will be off and the calculations for dosing will be off. Should I be concerned, I want to do my round as perfectly as possible and not mess it up. To be safe I'm willing to order more, but if it isn't a necessity then I won't.

    Thanks

If your mixing syringe plunger is all the way down, the amount left in the needle is not going to significantly affect dose amount.

Hi thanks so much for your response

Its not left in the needle its left in the plastic syringe itself that just wont come out. like a little half moon amount, so I don't know if that would make any difference.

If you have not yet withdrawn your first dose....

You can try drawing out some of your already mixed solution into the mixing syringe, let it mix with that remaining bit of solution, and then inject all of it back into your sterile mixing vial.

(Try to get all the air out of the syringe before you draw up again.)

That will dilute whatever HCG is left in there, and then even if that same amount is left over for some reason, you will have gotten most of the HCG out.

Thank you so much for your advice, unfortunately I have withdrawn my first dose for loading day 1. I'm really concerned about getting this right, so I am going to wait a couple of weeks after time of the month and load again with a new batch. I started to load healthy and decided I wasn't going to continue so ended the day having 2000 calories total of high fat, high protien ,low carb food, so hopefully haven't done too much damage.

Will I be ok just taking one injection on an abandoned load day and waiting two weeks and starting over again? I don't want to mess my system up or become immune.

If you have the will to continue with your round tomorrow, it would be fine to do so. HCG dose is not that sensitive that you have to be absolutely exact. From your description, it doesn't sound like a lot of mixture was trapped in your mixing needle, so the actual ius per ml is not going to be drastically affected.

We do HCG dose adjustments in 25iu increments, so if your dose is a few iu's off, its not going to make that much difference. And you always have the option to adjust your dose if you find you are having hunger or poor losses by doing a skip day diagnostic. We can help you with that.

If you decide its better for your peace of mind to start over later, it is unlikely that the one injection you took today will have any lasting negative consequences.

Thank you Leez, I'm so glad you responded you've given me the confidence to just do it. I realized that I may aswell just go for it and adjust my dose even if it's an odd dose and then just remix as soon as the new batch comes. I think I'll have doubts about how well and accurate I've mixed every time I do it, so I'll stop putting it off. I had high fat 2000 calories yesterday and today I'll have even more high fat calories so hopefully that will suffice for the loading and I'll start the low calorie tomorrow. Thanks again!

Two days loading is almost always sufficient. The exception would be for someone has been on a very low fat diet for a long time before starting.

If you are doing a low-carb load, you can minimize the load gain or even lose some before starting the VLC phase instead of having to lose a couple new pounds. But in my experience, I found that at the end of week one, I lost about the same net weight either way, and usually lost any load gain after the first VLC day.

    Good luck with your round!

Thank you. I feel like I'm being really annoying now but is it ok to bake chicken in the oven with no fat rather than grill. I've prepped all the meat and weight it raw then frozen it as I have very little time in the week and then can just grab a bag and stick the contents in the oven at the end of the day. Its very messy and a bit wasteful as I want to get exactly 100g per portion (raw) and I find I have some left over but not enough to make a portion. Can I ask what you do portion wise, weighing and prepping, I'm so sorry for all the questions!

You can bake your chicken breast with no oil to use in P2, yes.

I portion raw into separate snack-sized ziplocks and freeze whatever won't make it past the few days you can use it fresh. Then I either air-fry or grill on a Forman grill fresh for each meal. I think it tastes a lot better cooked fresh for each meal. But then, I am home, so don't need to plan around work schedules and such. Precooking and portioning certainly can work.

For the little bits I've cut off as I weighed, I gather them up into a 3.6 oz portion and freeze to pop into a soup. Same for fish.
